Baldwin is an extremely intelligent and articulate individual and this person does a very poor job of interviewing him. She has no ability to create an energetic interview that he is completely capable of and instead she stumbles along. Ugh, there are many excellent interviews out there with him that are far better.
She made a huge mistake by bringing up his popularity , he is so hugely narcissistic that you could see her wildly backpedalling !!! She is a really bad interviewer awful, but I've seen a different side of alec. Who is funny and eloquent rare occasions a woman director ??(?? I dont think alec is too fond of women

He's an eloquent, insightful and funny guy.
Great book. Great stories about his Knots Landing coke OD, working with Anthony Hopkins, the scumball moguls of Hollywood, etc.
