Let's Talk ACHERON Universal DPS Honkai Star Rail

- apologies again for how scuff the recording was o7, but yeah here are my general theories with Acheron, and some of what we talk about.
1. Should be a rather universal dps thanks to weakness ignore on break like Xueyi
2. brings a new Nihilty focused archetype instead of DoT we have unique ult mechanics, and general debuffs
3. Ideal general team comp should be- Tank/Healer that applies debuffs, 2 Supportive Nihilty characters (examples being: Guinaifen, Silver Wolf, Pela, and Black Swan.) Harmony could have a place, but for now think just simple Nihilty stacking makes most sense.
4. DoT apply for Acheron stacks so technically you could run Black Swan, Kafka, and have Acheron just kinda exist to the side
5. Welt can allow you to potentially avoid running a healer allowing for a Harmony character like Sparkle, or Bronya to be run.
6. It is highly probable that they will limit Harmony stack with Acheron a bit
7. Forgot to mention, but LC options are Goodnight sleep Well, and Acheron sig if you don't have either not even GNSW on low superimpose I recommend pulling on the light cone banner unfortunately other options just kinda stink.
8. Farming 4pc eagle, and Vonwacq for supports will be essential to get max value out of Acheron.
9. Speed boots will be good on Acheron, but if you can run Attack boots, and cheat out enough support actions that can become ideal instead. Will have to wait on calcs a bit
10. Pioneer Debuff set does work with Acheron her Slashed Dreams seem to apply debuff, so this will be her ideal general set, 4pc quantum is niche, but with silver wolf, and how many nihility characters you are running worth considering.
11. Planars wait for new world 9 set Izumo Genzei, otherwise salsotto is a solid option if you already got it.

She would be so much more valuable if she were quantum imo every other element has multiple choices for 5* DPS characters quantum has been stuck with Seele since the game dropped
We'll get one later,and yeah a bit tho tbh her being quantum. While already having weakness ignore triples down on what quantum already does is kinda boring. Think I'd probably have preferred wind (just blade :( ), but the aesthetic is better here, so it fine.
I don’t have a good lightcone for pela, help! And a nihility character besides pela for acheron
Guinaifen is another solution her basic applies a DoT, so it works out similarly to resolution pela, tho ultimately a bit weaker. Unfortunately, good lc options for debuff nihilty characters are rather limited as the best options are tutorial and resolution shines with pearls of sweat. GNSW can also work for having pela apply more damage herself to make up for it, but yeah, it's not an easy solution.
@@atmospherevgc you know I think the only nihility characters I have are pela and Acheron on my second account, lol. I’ve only been playing this account since 1 week ago tho
Looking at her abilities, she will at least be as strong as Dhil and Jing Liu.
My personal expectation is that she will be more universal than those 2, but a little less broken in perfectly ideal content. If so tbh perfect character for me, so I'll take that. (Basing this off her ult having weakness break ignore like xueyi, and her wanting to be with a lot of nihility characters (def shred stacking oo).) Have decent expectations on her pure fiction abilities as well with good speed investment. Also, TECHNIQUE POWERCREEP YO screw running sim universe no more mob fights!
@@atmospherevgc I think she will be less universal because of the need of another 1 or 2 nihility. But if you do have 2 other nihility units in her team, her 160% buff is really something else. But it does make a team up with her and Ruan Mei less likely. So maybe E2 is worth it because you can run with only one nihility unit to benefit from the 160% buff. Adding Ruan Mei in that team will be insane.
I mean more in the sense that she just works in all content, not in team composition. Her best team is just good everywhere. Thanks to having all type res ignore. Along with plenty of ways to just cheat ults faster just through hyperspeed supports.
