How to do an Insulin Injection

The nurse in this vid provides clear explanations for using diabetes pens. Also, I'm a needle weenie when it comes to self-injection and this video has been great to help me overcome my issues. Right around 4:40, the videographer does a close up of the nurse aligning the needle and inserting into an injection pad. I rerun this section multiple times and practice the injection motion with the cap on the needle, moving my pen in tandem with the nurse's motion. Then when I'm ready, do it for real.

I had to inject after bypass surgery in 2013 and was told that I couldn't get the pen.😢 Had to do it the old fashioned way.💉 In 2017 I was in hospital and put on insulin. Nurses thought I didn't know how to inject. I would have made bets with them but I didn't want to take their money.
