Omid's death was entirely omid and christa's fault because they let clementine go in that bathroom by herself when she could've easily been overpowered by a walker or a bandit, besides clementine is a child she didn't know she had to have her gun with her all the time, she probably thought she was safe because omid and christa were in the other room, they could've easily avoided his death by letting Clem into the bathroom with them
this ! its always pissed me off that christa seems mad at clem for omids death. even if clem left her gun unattended, christa had no way of knowing that. that girl could've taken that gun right out of clems hands just because clem is literally a little girl! they def should've checked the bathroom with clem.

I think the Kenny reveal in season 2 made up for the death of Omid. The Kenny reveal was probably the highest point in season 2. I was very hopeful that he survived in that building. And I sure it was a high point for all the Kenny lovers. can't wait for season 3 hope Clem and Kenny are safe in Wellington.
Me personally, I think it'd be sick if we got some sort of "Alternate Universe" versions of the Telltale Walking Dead games. Maybe after Season 3 is finished, they go back and do something similar to 400 days where they have stories about certain characters, but instead of stories covering the in between of seasons, they make it where if the story went a different way. For example: if Lee never did get bitten, maybe he would've lived past season 1, and could've talked to the girl robbing Clem out of doing anything and maybe it would've resulted in no one dying and instead that girl potentially joining Lee, Clem, Omid and Christa. Another example: If Ben (and no one else) fell when jumping to the roof near the end of Season 1, maybe Ben could've jumped down in Christa's place and since he was I believe a bit taller, might've managed to jump up to Lee & Omid and it could've in the end resulted in Kenny not dissapearing, Ben not dying, and again, maybe having a different start to Season 2.
I think it was so cheap that they killed Omede and had Christa go MIA. They could have easily replaced Rebecca and Alvin in that storyline and instead of the opening we got we could have seen the escape from carvers compound. Their reason for leaving is carver wanted little Omede.(Or all four characters could have existed and the four of them left because carver wanted their children for his own) That’s how I would have wrote it.

Also I believe because of how sudden omid's death was, christa has being learning clem some survival skills just in case she can't take care of her anymore (genius christa!!) I recall christa talking something bout clem needing to learn how to make a fire or something at the start of the series? But yeah.... RIP Omid. As many other characters, your kindness and generosity was too big for the world to handle

I honestly much prefer the idea of Christa dying in the bathroom instead of Omid. First of all, it would have been interesting to see how it changed Omid's character, and second, it would have removed all of the questions people have about what happened to Christa's baby. As it was mentioned in the video, Omid preferred to stay in groups, so maybe if he lived instead of Christa, he and Clementine could have ended up in Carver's camp with the group Clementine ends up with in Season 2. I think this would have made the two seasons feel more connected and less like Telltale was making all of the choices you made in Season 1 irrelevant.
Playing as a little girl was boring as shit to me, especially when she made a retarted choice right away (leaving her gun on the sink) I know she's gotten older but still.... I doubt I'll play season 3.

Yeah that would be a good theory to look into cause remember clem's new group's first interaction with Kenny's new group was hostile, and it was clem and Kenny's familiarity that calmed things If Kenny wasn't there it could've gone badly, there could've been a shoot out or they could've not allowed clem's group to enter the lodge

I agree with you, Omid's death is one of the most bullshit deaths I've seen so far from telltale (haven't played a new frontier yet). also, the WAY he died pissed me off maybe even more than his actual death. Everything about it just felt so unnecessary and stupid. I feel like season 2 had a lot of deaths that only happened to create an emotional scene, but it only ended up pissing me off. it was like they thought they had to kill off as many characters as possible (especially the best ones) 'cause they couldn't find any other way to create tension and generally emotional shit like in season 1 (a lot of people died in s1 too, but most of them didn't feel too forced or unnecessary imo). idk. i'm just really bad cause my favourite people died lol

I remember when I saw Omid get killed off because my Spanish class finished our finals and she, my teacher, let us be on our phones and the class was watching ATL on the projector screen in the room. I on the other hand was sitting in a bean bag chair in the corner of the room charging my phone and watching pewdiepie play season 2, cuz it came out like the night before, and when he died I gasped. Not kidding. And the rest of the class laughed at a joke from the movie. And this one girl turned and look at me like wtf is wrong with you? I felt so sad amd so embarrassed and so self conscious at the same time.
