@@AndreasBiegel that's not a faro.. at all. might want to fix your prescription. plenty of cards are double stacked and hard to see due to the deck he chose. which isn't an amazing deck, its extra. too extra. easy to mark.
@JohnMarston-sf1vk i have purple decks from companies that were no where near $300 the most expensive decks i own (one opened and one still in the packing cellophane for collector's part - since i always buy 2 decks at a time, one to play/practice with and one to keep as a collector's edition) d madison's deck that was only released for X period of time on theory11. when i got the e-mail on their release, within 20min or less, they were ALL sold out. i have NO CLUE how my sister got two packs because within 2 hrs of them being sold, people were uploading them on ebay and other similar sights for $500+ per deck and the highest one i saw sold was $875 and change. so idk how much she spent, since they didn't come in theory 11 packaging. and its my most treasured gift from my sister. the deck itself was, like i said, a limited release, and the only deck i own that has a secret method of figuring out which card i which by looking at the back's design. it came with a sheet of paper showing you how to spot them but i didn't care to know since i viewed it as cheating outright. tbh, i think its lost somewhere in my room if not lost entirely. if these cards were more reasonably priced at $30-$50 i MIGHT would consider buying 2 - one to play with and one to keep sealed. but seeing how ONE deck came in a fancy box and some kind of coin, i imagine that's 80-90% of the reason for the price. as the design of the card isn't all that complex compared to the theory11 decks i've collected that range from $8 - $15 per pack. minus one that was $30-45 each. as wel as the Madison decks that my sister somehow got me. even used the design that had Madison's D in the center of it to use as a starting point for my custom tattoos on my chest for D and W in the center along with the similar base design surrounding it with hand drawn differences. not only that, out of all my tats, a dozen or more, including one on lower floating ribs-to-hip bone, one on the inside of my arm from arm pit down bicep to elbow, and a 4.5+ hr big piece on my back did not hurt nearly as bad as the shorter amount of time on my chest. the higher he went the more pain it was. hell i even have one on the TOP of one of my hands that didn't exactly "hurt" in the traditional sense but rather felt "sharp" as my broski said it would fell. i could essentially space out while he did the tattoo (its the black / grey scale monarch from il Duce's hand piece from Boondock Saints movies) loved that movie from the first time i saw to the 100th time i saw it. had to get it. now the biggest debate is whether or not i want to add a background to it or keep it as is. either way, the two identical size custom tats based on daniel madison's deck hurt the most the closer he got up towards the collar bones + he was HEAVY HANDED. he did the top of my hand and the 4.5+ hr long tattoo on my back in one sitting, and the only reason that big tat "hurt" was because it was straight up raw after the 3hr to 3.5hr mark. but i never "passed out" nor "tapped out" since the back can take far more punishment than anyone else except maybe your buttcheeks which is why parents use that area to spank children due to the sheer amount of nerve endings as well as the fact spankings are safe. people who think that kind of discipline of their children is "child abuse" are absolutely batsht insane because it kept me from being a rude/disrespectful person in life, as well as knowing right from wrong, so on and so forth. children today not only LACK the Nuclear Family model and suffer tons of issues from that, but they also suffer from an utter LACK OF DISCIPLINE entirely. Especially Gen A+ Gen Z aka the tablet generations... where "parents" flat out gave their kids smart phones or ipads to keep them from bothering them VS actually RAISING their child and spending time with their child. which has led to students in school verbally AND PHYSICALLY assaulting their teachers, always being disrespectful, never paying attention due to social media and reels like this and that smooth brain app "tik no-thought tok" its so bad that students are being passed on due to the "No Child Left Behind" policy in public schools and teachers upload how these kids going into high school are STILL performing at a 4th grader's level... some of these kids do not know how to spell simple words, their own name FFS, know their own birthday, can't do simple math, can't do simple comprehension in reading.... and even when teachers give them failing grades, the school board passes them. truly sad. back to the video, i DO agree the deck IS 100% beautiful and i would LOVE to have a pair of them but i wouldn't like to have 2 boxes as shown in the video as i do not know why its done that way nor the significance of the coin/value of it nor what the left plaque says. i do agree in terms of truly loving that particular shade of purple, it IS beautiful. and the backs' design is also nice. however, i still would not want one to play with and one to keep sealed for my collection for $600+tax and sipping'n'handling.
Hey, your videos really got me into learning card tricks again, thanks for the great content! About this shuffle in particular, do you have any tips on how get a good angle / align them better when trying to riffle the cards together? What usually happens for me is that the first 2-3 cards from each pack interleave and then the cards don't even hit one another anymore because the distance increases from bottom to top. Am I not applying enough pressure with my middle and ring finger or am I missing something entirely different?
I remember like 9 years ago there was this guy who would do this for us in an after school child care place and he would call it the rainbow. Good times.
