The title made me think it was going to be like "About Time," but it actually had "Our Friend" vibes with more romance and no best friend. Again, I was shocked when Garfield's character wasn't crying. He definitely shed enough tears for the whole audience. 😭 It was touching film.
Ah, I haven't seen Our Friend! I'll have to add that to the list. But judging from the synopsis, I can definitely see what you mean. Yes, he did! Definitely a touching one, but I still appreciated the experience. 🙏🙏🙏
Great review!!! 💚 This one was intriguing but did get that kleenex vibe. Are we talking This Is Us kleenex vibe? Lol no worries, I haven't seen that movie either lol
Yup! I think that's the case with any massive franchise. There are the die-hard fans, casual fans, and the people who never had an interest to begin with. 🙃🙃🙃
Glad I'm not alone! There are certain films that I never had the chance to see based on the time they came out and/or my access to them at the time. 🙃🙃🙃
"A lot of the times the way Hollywood decides to "Hollywood" and depict that." Yep, that's pretty much spot-on about Hollywood being Hollywood, reminds me of Welcome To Marwen with how it was Hollywood being Hollywood and being a painful watch.
How it going today and how was your weekend? Never heard of this movie and just here to hear your thoughts on this one. Interesting pair or Spiderman and the black widow sister.
Not too bad. Mainly riding the couch and editing per usual. Believe it or not, I actually forgot about the Zelena piece with Florence. Considering what I've heard about Secret Wars, there could be some incorporation of those characters in the same film. I'd be interested in seeing that. 👌👌👌
Man, I hate sad movies. Just in the sense that I do tend to avoid these kind of movies for the feeling it leaves afterwards.Which is rather silly as I'll be missing on good stories. I'm not into romance stuff but perhaps this is a movie I will just get on with it and watch. These two actors I expected to be great. Glad to hear it's a good watch.
I understand! It is a tough thing to experience, and I get why you would steer clear. I do think there are some quality films out there with these themes, so I think there might be some exceptions that you could appreciate at some point. 🙏🙏🙏
Irreplaceable You, Our Friend, The Fault In Our Stars, The Big Sick, Love & Other Drugs, One Day, etc. I can definitely see one or more similarities narratively with some of these films. 👌👌👌
@@DMovieman Thank you! Out of all the movies, The Big Sick is my fav and more emotionally effective. Life is too chaotic. Comedy tends to capture the ebb and flow of things better in my opinion.

I've never seen This Is Us, either. But from what I've heard about the series from my friends, I don't think this film comes close to it emotionally.
@DMovieman oh gawd! Lol maybe one day lol when im well prepared lol 🤧

That's the same reaction when I say that I'm not a big Star Wars fan. 😂

I haven't seen the social network either. 🤷🏾♀️

I did enjoy this and the acting was great. Love Florence Pugh. Tough subject matter. I did not watch a trailer at all going into this.
Hey, Ryan! I'm glad I'm not alone on this one, and Florence Pugh always comes through! 🙏🙏🙏
That intro says it all 😂 Yeah, man, this was a great one! Enjoyed the review, brotha!
@@AnthonyAPerez I appreciate you, hermano! 🙏🙏🙏

I haven't seen this movie yet. What other movies give similar vibes?
Irreplaceable You, Our Friend, The Fault In Our Stars, The Big Sick, Love & Other Drugs, One Day, etc.

I can definitely agree! I'll have to watch this one fairly soon, as it's been on my list for a while. 🙏🙏🙏
