  • Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh star in John Crowley's "We Live In Time," which tells the story of a relationship over the course of a decade. The two actors sat down with AP film writer Jake Coyle to talk about on-screen chemistry, processing the heavier moments of the film - and that infamous carousel horse meme.

You can really tell how dear this film is to Andrew, especially since his own mother passed away from cancer❤️‍🩹

I just saw the film. In so many ways it's terrific. I enjoy seeing unadorned films for adults without masks and superhuman powers. The subject matter is serious so if you haven't seen it you have to be prepared for that. There are some fun moments. The film itself is a bit uneven, and at times feels like it's going on a bit long with scenes that jump in time not necessarily done poorly, but could have maybe been reduced a bit, and still told the story as well. Wonderful acting, and in general the cinematography, score, etc. were spot on for the type of film it is.
