It’s not Seth’s fault that his matches as champion haven’t hit the level they should. His matches always get way less time than Roman’s matches. I mean at MITB Seth got 12 minutes for his match while Reigns got 32. I think if they gave Rollins more time to show what he’s capable of the same way he did in the Cody feud I think he could really give us a special match as champ.
Well it was a tag team match vs a singles match and that match had a 3 year build i know Finn and Seth had a feud that started in 2016 but it never picked up until this year

We the fans now exactly what he has done since he became champion. its like you say Santi, he has elevated the championship to another level. well he has elevated the championship to the attitude era if you ask me. And even after that when did he last have a title match or main event caliber match if not vs Roman or vs The Bloodline?? I feel like the worst thing about Seth Rollins and his current title run is that the outcome seem very predictable. It also seems like on Raw at least is that there isn't many believable main event contenders for The World Heavyweight Championship.
I'd also say Romans title reign is underrated because I haven't cared about a top title reign in so long, and has only had great storylines with a diverse cast even with some hiccups along the way. As for asuka sorry if this sounds too blunt, but WWE rarely pushes and books well non native English speakers.

If we're talking Pre-Wrestlemania, then I'd put Theory in underrated. He had a very hot start, and people seemed genuinely invested. Plus, he had some underrated matches against the likes of Edge, Seth Rollins, Elimination Chamber Match, etc. Post-Wrestlemania is where I'd put him overrated, though. He's had no character development, no important feuds or matches, and he hasn't given me a reason to care. He's boring now. His booking is god awful now, too. He disappears off TV for weeks just to come back and cut the same "I'm the greatest/I beat Cena" promo, then has a random match with no build, and then gets a cheesy win.
I think Seth’s title reign has been good, all of the matches have been solid to good but there’s just been nothing standout so far. I think they need to let him main event a PLE to make the WHC not feel secondary. I think Finn vs Seth at Summerslam will be much better hopefully and Finn might even win. Seth has also said on Logan’s podcast that he’s been dealing with a few injuries the past few months so maybe that’s why his in ring work hasn’t been as good as we expected it to

I think what draws the line between Roman and KO/Sami's reign is that Roman did build up a couple names to a level where we thought they were going to beat Roman, whether it's during the buildup or during the match. At least for me, there's Edge, Finn Balor, Drew Mcintyre, and the obvious, Cody Rhodes. I like the two, actually. I don't want the titles off their shoulders, I just want them to be booked in a longer storyline with another tag team. By any means though, Roman's situation isn't any better at all. At least you get to see the tag titles on the line.
The RVD comparison is a bit unfair to Cena, and I say this as a complete Cena hater. That is a unique situation and RVD very likely would have remained a top guy in ECW for a while and possibly feuded with guys like CM Punk and Lashley. The goal wasn’t for him to lead in WWE, it was to lead the ECW brand as he was, easily, the biggest star to ever come out of the promotion and it is NOT close. I agree with what you said about Roman though, he has elevated people since the Bloodline story started. He hasn’t helped everyone, but some people have and you can’t discount that. However, what will define this undisputed reign is if the people he has feuded with stay as main eventers going forward. It’s easy to be there while Roman is, but can they hang without him? That is the true question.

I agree with you on KO and SZ. They were extremely fun as the underdogs while they were fueding with the Bloddline but since their titlewin at WM, the creatives have not found anything really interesting for them. Even their gimmicks seem strange. KO's anger issues are too overplayed in my opinion and SZ often seems arrogant, lecturing people and insisting of the fact that they are de champions. Idk but that's not the evolution I was expecting for him after the Bloodline story. And yea of course, they have no serious opponents. Imperium have been booked way too weak, SP aren't doing anything, Alpha Academy just joking around, Prettey Deadly one guy got injured... Roman's matches always skirt the length of being too long (the last four or five have consistently been near a half an hour or over), without fail at least a quarter of the match is ridiculous/slow dominance that could just be cut out, a Roman match is fairly formulaic in how it goes down and again, as much as I appreciate his mic, promo and story work, his in-ring work has (to me) always felt like the "What if Goldberg actually learned to wrestle a bit" . . . and it's boring. Like it or not Roman _has_ kind of held the main event scene hostage and it's literally only because the Bloodline storyline has been gold this past year or so that there's been less complaints about it. But when Roman loses and the next generation (because it will be. I know Roman will be active a while longer, but I give him five years as an absolute max before he's in Hollywood) comes in? Provided they get the same love and care Roman's getting, even a month long title reign could be awesome.
@@TheRavenholme I know his matches are not for everyone but I enjoy his matches a lot because they feel like big time matches, first half of his matches are slow but the 2nd half becomes extremely dramatic and exciting (at least in my opinion) and the slowness of the 1st half helps to built for the impact for the 2nd half. The Bloodline Storyline wouldn't be Impact full without Roman's contribution, you just watch the bloodline segments with Roman and then without him, you will feel the difference. But it's just my opinion.

I mean I've been an unrepentant Randy Orton fanboy since Blastin' and those absolutely insane diving crossbody's he used to do and yet, I understand there are people who legitimately dislike him and find him boring. And I definitely don't mind drama, but I guess it might be my age showing a little bit when I say I prefer more wrestling to drama. The highly physical, intense matches that involve a whole lot of telling a story through action. Modern examples being stuff like Sheamus vs. Gunther at Clash at the Castle, Rhea vs. Charlotte at Wrestlemania 39 (which I'm gonna hold up as the best female wrestling match that I've seen, period) and Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Gunther at Wrestlemania 39. I guess the word would either be NWA/early WCW violent or "highly technical." Idk, I suck at putting stuff like that into words. So enjoying the drama the storyline generates and puts into a match, I can't fault you on that at all. I guess at this point I just hope Roman's SummerSlam, Survivor Series (presumably), Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 40 (because it really feels like they're setting him up to lose there, especially with Cody Rhodes also having a series of matches with Lesnar this year) matches hit that niche, for me!

I remember watching the match between Roman and Drew at Clash At The Castle and I knew that Roman is not dropping his belt against Drew but I still got caught up into the drama that it genuinely made me believe that Drew has a chance to win the championship, same goes for his championship match against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber 2023 and I actually cried a bit when Roman retained his championship against Drew and Sami and I was genuinely happy when Jey pinned Roman at Money in the Bank. In my opinion if a match can make you feel genuine sadness and happiness then those wrestlers did something right.

If this video was made after Summerslam and his banger with Finn Balor it would be impossible to claim that Seth's in-ring work isn't as high-class as before. With statements like "Even Gunther is more legitimate champion than Seth" many people don't let him breathe, while step by step the championship is becoming more relevant with its champion
Roman didn’t cheat against Jey, Braun, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Rey, Cena, Finn (although the rope broke) or Riddle. Sure his matches have interference for the past year but Roman has had good matches as champion and didn’t always cheat to win. All of Theory’s matches have interference or some sort of cheating (ex: low blow)
I'll tell you why Asuka is not taken seriously and why she plays 3rd fiddle while being the champion. She can't speak. Roman is overrated. Average matches(ua superman punch, spear, kick out, Solo comes in and saves Romans a$$), Average Promos(they were sh1t before Tribal Chief gimmick years ago), made 1 of the best storyline, but storylines before Survivor Series were pretty bad. Jon Moxley and Seth Rollins are better then Roman in almost every aspect. before kids starts to rage, only reason you love him is because he looks powerful and has boring reign for over 3 years. I actually like Austin theory's fighting style and he has a John Cena level physique, but what he lacks is intensity something that Bron Breaker, Carmello Hayes, and Grayson Waller have. Too me its like he's a child playing on a playground and its like his character does not truly understand the weight of the US title, I feel like he treats it like a toy, he needs a character rework that brings out the intensity in him. I mean come on Grayson doesnt even have a title but when he fights its like he's defending something. Although, I don't blame theory, he wasn't given enough time to cook at all.

If we're talking Pre-Wrestlemania, then I'd put Theory in underrated. He had a very hot start, and people seemed genuinely invested. Plus, he had some underrated matches against the likes of Edge, Seth Rollins, Elimination Chamber Match, etc.
Post-Wrestlemania is where I'd put him overrated, though. He's had no character development, no important feuds or matches, and he hasn't given me a reason to care. He's boring now. His booking is god awful now, too. He disappears off TV for weeks just to come back and cut the same "I'm the greatest/I beat Cena" promo, then has a random match with no build, and then gets a cheesy win.
I think Seth’s title reign has been good, all of the matches have been solid to good but there’s just been nothing standout so far. I think they need to let him main event a PLE to make the WHC not feel secondary. I think Finn vs Seth at Summerslam will be much better hopefully and Finn might even win. Seth has also said on Logan’s podcast that he’s been dealing with a few injuries the past few months so maybe that’s why his in ring work hasn’t been as good as we expected it to

Since Mania everything he’s done has been to progress the Bloodline story and has had little to do with the titles. And I know he’s defending against Jey but let’s all be real here, Jey’s not winning this match. Just like Kevin wasn’t winning at the Rumble, just like Sami wasn’t winning at EC. Neither of these guys had been built up enough to where they could realistically take the title
I think what draws the line between Roman and KO/Sami's reign is that Roman did build up a couple names to a level where we thought they were going to beat Roman, whether it's during the buildup or during the match. At least for me, there's Edge, Finn Balor, Drew Mcintyre, and the obvious, Cody Rhodes. I like the two, actually. I don't want the titles off their shoulders, I just want them to be booked in a longer storyline with another tag team. By any means though, Roman's situation isn't any better at all. At least you get to see the tag titles on the line.
The RVD comparison is a bit unfair to Cena, and I say this as a complete Cena hater. That is a unique situation and RVD very likely would have remained a top guy in ECW for a while and possibly feuded with guys like CM Punk and Lashley. The goal wasn’t for him to lead in WWE, it was to lead the ECW brand as he was, easily, the biggest star to ever come out of the promotion and it is NOT close. I agree with what you said about Roman though, he has elevated people since the Bloodline story started. He hasn’t helped everyone, but some people have and you can’t discount that. However, what will define this undisputed reign is if the people he has feuded with stay as main eventers going forward. It’s easy to be there while Roman is, but can they hang without him? That is the true question.

I agree with you on KO and SZ. They were extremely fun as the underdogs while they were fueding with the Bloddline but since their titlewin at WM, the creatives have not found anything really interesting for them. Even their gimmicks seem strange. KO's anger issues are too overplayed in my opinion and SZ often seems arrogant, lecturing people and insisting of the fact that they are de champions. Idk but that's not the evolution I was expecting for him after the Bloodline story. And yea of course, they have no serious opponents. Imperium have been booked way too weak, SP aren't doing anything, Alpha Academy just joking around, Prettey Deadly one guy got injured... Roman's matches always skirt the length of being too long (the last four or five have consistently been near a half an hour or over), without fail at least a quarter of the match is ridiculous/slow dominance that could just be cut out, a Roman match is fairly formulaic in how it goes down and again, as much as I appreciate his mic, promo and story work, his in-ring work has (to me) always felt like the "What if Goldberg actually learned to wrestle a bit" . . . and it's boring. Like it or not Roman _has_ kind of held the main event scene hostage and it's literally only because the Bloodline storyline has been gold this past year or so that there's been less complaints about it.
But when Roman loses and the next generation (because it will be. I know Roman will be active a while longer, but I give him five years as an absolute max before he's in Hollywood) comes in? Provided they get the same love and care Roman's getting, even a month long title reign could be awesome.
@@TheRavenholme I know his matches are not for everyone but I enjoy his matches a lot because they feel like big time matches, first half of his matches are slow but the 2nd half becomes extremely dramatic and exciting (at least in my opinion) and the slowness of the 1st half helps to built for the impact for the 2nd half. The Bloodline Storyline wouldn't be Impact full without Roman's contribution, you just watch the bloodline segments with Roman and then without him, you will feel the difference. But it's just my opinion.

I mean I've been an unrepentant Randy Orton fanboy since Blastin' and those absolutely insane diving crossbody's he used to do and yet, I understand there are people who legitimately dislike him and find him boring.
And I definitely don't mind drama, but I guess it might be my age showing a little bit when I say I prefer more wrestling to drama. The highly physical, intense matches that involve a whole lot of telling a story through action. Modern examples being stuff like Sheamus vs. Gunther at Clash at the Castle, Rhea vs. Charlotte at Wrestlemania 39 (which I'm gonna hold up as the best female wrestling match that I've seen, period) and Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Gunther at Wrestlemania 39. I guess the word would either be NWA/early WCW violent or "highly technical." Idk, I suck at putting stuff like that into words.
So enjoying the drama the storyline generates and puts into a match, I can't fault you on that at all. I guess at this point I just hope Roman's SummerSlam, Survivor Series (presumably), Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 40 (because it really feels like they're setting him up to lose there, especially with Cody Rhodes also having a series of matches with Lesnar this year) matches hit that niche, for me!

I remember watching the match between Roman and Drew at Clash At The Castle and I knew that Roman is not dropping his belt against Drew but I still got caught up into the drama that it genuinely made me believe that Drew has a chance to win the championship, same goes for his championship match against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber 2023 and I actually cried a bit when Roman retained his championship against Drew and Sami and I was genuinely happy when Jey pinned Roman at Money in the Bank. In my opinion if a match can make you feel genuine sadness and happiness then those wrestlers did something right.

If this video was made after Summerslam and his banger with Finn Balor it would be impossible to claim that Seth's in-ring work isn't as high-class as before. What's more, I don't know about English-speaking community, but in Russian there's a lot of haters of Seth Rollins as a champion. With statements like "Even Gunther is more legitimate champion than Seth" many people don't let him breathe, while step by step the championship is becoming more relevant with its champion

Average matches(ua superman punch, spear, kick out, Solo comes in and saves Romans a$$), Average Promos(they were sh1t before Tribal Chief gimmick years ago), made 1 of the best storyline, but storylines before Survivor Series were pretty bad. Jon Moxley and Seth Rollins are better then Roman in almost every aspect.
