- Our latest review on the docket this weekend - Sega's adrenaline-infused top-view arcade blockbuster centering around 2 agents in their impending race against time and their endless fight against the impending odds! Set in the 21st Century (aka NOW), 2 Special Service Agents by the name of BEN BREAKER & ANDY ATTACKER are under orders from the Federal Government to infiltrate the mad scientist Mr. X's (aka Mr. K) multi-level base. Apparently, he's hell-bent on world domination by creating a huge cybernetic goat demon (aka the so-called "Artificial Life System"). In each of the 4 areas of these base levels, you have to A) plant each bomb on the pre-marked red X's and B) fend off every opposing hostile party before hauling ass to the next area.
Introduced in the arcades in 1989, CRACK DOWN was eventually ported to the Genesis / Mega Drive in the coming years, with the US release being coordinated by the already-defunct Sage's Creation ℅ Hot-B.
This game is an absolute blast. The soundtrack is great too!

Saturn, Genesis,or dreamcast which do you prefer if you could get one shppied to you for free with every game available also sent to you ?
Dreamcast, for sure! The inner workings of the console are corrupted, hence why it's been unable to load lately. Also, the only title I own is Space Channel 5!

Actually, I'm the "Big Boss Applesauce" channel operator/owner/producer/host/narrator - the other account above is my very first from 2012, just before the birth of this project! In all honesty, I've always been a huge believer of suspending disbelief in terms of juggling two identities (think of all your favorite heroes, fictional or otherwise that have a penchant for that particular purpose) - considering it's been close to an entire decade since the show's been in existence!
Speaking of which, after Mission Impossible (NES, based on the 2nd series of the show with the late Peter Graves & Tony Hamilton, along with Phil Morris / Thaao Penghlis / Jane Badler; long before the Ethan Hunt / Cruise films, no less - by Konami's short-lived Ultra) - I'm planning a 10th Anniversary Special in which I revisit the first 7 titles: Jaws / Contra / Ninja Gaiden / Kabuki Quantum Fighter, Shatterhand & Vice Project Doom / Rambo & Rambo 3!
Did I forget to mention (speaking of Dreamcast) I also reviewed the Ecco franchise (#85) - as well?
