Depends on how much you know and how much time you want to spend teaching yourself the content you dont. With your strong back ground in AP Physics 1 you shouldn't need more than a month I would say if you didnt forget to much. The book I have in the description is a great help and guide to seeing where you are at. Are you going to take it?
Hi I have a question which I saw in the practice test and it about a comet which is in elliptical orbit and the question is asking for which statement is correct and I am confused in two options they are 1 the direction and mag of force remain constant and 2 the direction of of motion of comet is changing always but speed is constant. Plzz explain
When in orbit the centripetal force keeps it in orbit. The Fc always points toward the center of the circular motion so that direction is always changes. The Fc is the sum of the forces and in this case the force is the force due to gravity which is indirectly proportional to the distance between... Fc is also directly related to v.. using these relationships we know the speed can remain constant but the direction will always be changing therefore is has a centripetal acceleration. This is a circular motion/Fg problem. Hope that helped
Awesome! How long do you recommend prepping for the Physics Subject Test?

@@themathandphysicstutor Thank you so much! Yes, I want to take the exam! Already purchased the book you recommended - it's great! Thank you!!
Right on! Im back to work now. So expect content pretty much everyday. If you have any questions let me lnow
