    I love the Wasp design approach: simple, compact, lightweight, functional.

    Excellent shooting brother and kool edc frame. I have tried and tried to catch the flight of my ball on video. I can if I do med to long draw but if I shoot butterfly I can't seen to catch it.

      My video clips are shot 60fps and slow motions are done by slowing down original 60fps to 15%.

    Great shooting, especially in that wind, and great recording.
    It would take me 15 shots to hit that at 80' with my favorite setup.

    • @KalevalaSlingshot
      @KalevalaSlingshot  3 года назад +1

      8mm steel and bigger ammo with enough speed work well in the wind.
      Your 15 shots is better what average shooter can do I guess🤔

    Lovely job and great review as always...only thing you could change is the writing in yellow it's small and hard to read and disappears fast..I love the information but find it hard to follow sometimes... anyway great...thank you for sharing.

      I have changed colour to orange in my new videos.
      Also is asked, if text could be visible longer.
      I try 👍
      I have to admit, that my videos are not cellular phone friendly. I edit these videos on 27" computer screen and everything looks so much bigger than on phone screen.
      Thank You very much Nathan and Merry Christmas 😊

    does the extremly light wheight of the frame make it more difficult to handle the recoil ?

    • @KalevalaSlingshot
      @KalevalaSlingshot  Месяц назад +1

      Hi Zwillen Bendiger 👋.
      I wouldn't use recoil and slingshot in same sentece, but I would rather say too heavy bands when compared to ammo weight.
      With matched bands there is no recoil and also when I have used over powered bands, I have never noticed any difference with recoil between light or heavy frames.

    • @ZwillenBendiger
      @ZwillenBendiger Месяц назад +1

      @@KalevalaSlingshot yes recoil is probably the the wrong term for that, but i didn't know any better term for it, by recoil i mean if i use very powerfull setups beyond 20 joule, i need to counter the movement of the frame while shooting and i thaught maybe with such a light frame as the xo this would already occure at lower energy outputs like f.e 12 joules
      all frames i shot until now were very similar in wheight, therefore i dont know if it makes any difference at all, i only heard few people say that a heavier frame supports better accuracy because of it
      thank you very much kalevala🙏👍

    • @KalevalaSlingshot
      @KalevalaSlingshot  Месяц назад +1

      @@ZwillenBendiger I have heard also couple times that heavier frames handle recoil better 👍.
      WASP XO is one of those frames that I like to shoot with light bands.

    • @ZwillenBendiger
      @ZwillenBendiger Месяц назад +1

      @@KalevalaSlingshot i think i will give it a try, maybe i can even make it comfortable for heavier setups with a paracord wrap and maybe some weight in it
      thank you very much👍

    Do you think this frame is strong enough for thicker bands, such as 1mm bands??

    • @sf2998
      @sf2998 10 месяцев назад +1

      and whats the widest diameter of the pinky hole at the bottom of the handle? sorry i must ask this before buying another wrong slingshot....😁

    • @KalevalaSlingshot
      @KalevalaSlingshot  10 месяцев назад +1

      I think it should be, but haven't tried.
      I grabbed forks under the band attachment spot and tried to bend and yes, You can see and feel that those forks bend.
      Not perfect choice with thick bands perhaps, but max width is 20mm...

    • @KalevalaSlingshot
      @KalevalaSlingshot  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@sf2998 Both feels quite similar, but if You wrap XO with paracord, then I would say that feels more comfortable because wrapping adds thickness and width to the handle.

    • @sf2998
      @sf2998 10 месяцев назад

      i feel uniphoxx would be abit more comfortable than xo because xo feels more thinner and more empty? i could be wrong, i do have xo now and it shoots fine..

      @@sf2998 If You want more comfortable frame, then ENZO is a great choice.

  • @ccc-o2z
    @ccc-o2z 2 года назад +1

    How uncomfortable is this?

    • @KalevalaSlingshot
      @KalevalaSlingshot  2 года назад +1

      I wouldn't use word uncomfortable...
      It feels a bit slippery first, when holding in hand, but when You shoot and pull bands, it locks nicely to Your hand.
      But, if I should choose between ENZO and this, ENZO would be my choice.
