    Thank you, Ben & Erin for helping the rural animal population. Not enough vets. Certainly not enough vets treating farm animals- our food supply. Write to your state and local government and push for tuition free schooling for those promising to go into large animal veterinarian practice in farm country. Vets treating cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese....are critical for the health of the nation!

    The coccidiosis calf has a lump on the left side of his mouth. What is it, and is it related to his coccidiosis?

    I'm surprised they did nothing about the massive lump on the downed calf's jaw. It was obviously there & might have been an abscess.

      Typically yes. You are paying for services rendered, not a guaranteed outcome. And sometimes, if the owner didn't wait to call/come in, the outcome would have been different.

    What's the bulbs on that uterus? Also why didn't y'all flush the cats' ears with water? Can that not be done with animals? It just seems to me that, since humans aren't supposed to use Qtips, why use them on animals?

    • @Oak_Hollow
      @Oak_Hollow 2 месяца назад +5

      You shouldn't blindly use q-tips on anything. Qtips aren't the problem, the blind use of them is.
      Why would you fill an ear with water? That just provides excessive moisture for bacterial or fungal growth.

    • @FoxLightstep
      @FoxLightstep 2 месяца назад +2

      @@Oak_Hollow Not fill with water. Flush it out. Like a constant stream to carry the stuff out of the ear.
