Hello Max & Sujy, thank you so much for this excellent video!, About some timelines that I recognize: 4:10 Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water 4:25 Deep Purple - Burn Greetings from Chile!
Now you can check out Japanese jazz fusion music, too. As a jazz fusion lover in this period, I am very happy. The musicians here are truly Japan's top notch musicians in the jazz fusion scene, but honestry, I guess I really don't like T-Square or Cassiopeia much...anyway, again the individual musicians are really Japan's top notch ones. For example..., Hirotaka Izumi (和泉宏隆) on the piano at 0:32 from fomer T-Square (RIP) Mitsuru Suto (須藤満) on the bassguitar at 0:59 from former T-Square Yoshihiro Naruse (成瀬喜博) on the bassguitar at 1:06 from fomer Cassiopeia Hiroyuki Noritake (則竹裕之) on the drums at 1:26 from fomer T-Square Akira Jinbo (神保彰) on the drums at 1:29 from fomer Cassiopeia, now in 'The Tropical Jazz Big Band' (熱帯ジャズ楽団) Minoru Mukaiya (向谷実) on the keyboards at 2:11 from Cassiopeia, The super Railways Otaku! Issei Noro (野呂一生) on the guitar at 2:16 from Cassioeia Masahiro Ando (安藤まさひろ) on the guitar at 2:17 from T-Square Takeshi Ito (伊東たけし) on the alto sax at 2:39 from T-Square Keizo Kawano (河野啓三) on the keyboards at 4:25 from fomer T-Square (maybe) Japanese fusion bands frequently change members. But the connection between musicians is great. The above two bands are popular and major in Japan, but please react to my favorite, talented progressive fusion band, 'PRISM' next. I will bow for you, and please give me your regards!
You should react to other live songs they did at the same performance! Especially songs like ‘omens of love’ ‘looking up’ and ‘Asayake’ all songs they played live at the same performance they played fightman
the one you saw in Truth clip is actually Masato Honda, who replaced Itoh in the 90s, also played Tank in cowboy bebop. Itoh came back in 2000s, when most likely this video's made.
Yasss thats the greatest Japanese bands in the world i give it a thumbs up will you please react to super sentai girl henshin and roll call thats my request pick your favorite
Max、Super Nice Comment! Thank You!See You Next Video!
I think, T-square is an interesting mixture of classical jazz or easy listening new age style(keyboard), pentatonic-fast playing rock(guitar) and Marcus Miller Style fusion jazz(bass), while Casiopea rather has built up their own genres, which I do appreciate but is not really my cup of tea. Both are incredible in terms of their techniques, but melodies just sound like easy listening, not more than pop instrumental for background music for TV programs.
Kawano, the keyboard player who arranged for this live (Burn part of Deep Purple) suffered a stroke and retired from playing music. (He can no longer play, but is concentrating on composing.) And IZUMI, who played the piano, passed away last spring. God is cruel.

Hello Max & Sujy, thank you so much for this excellent video!, About some timelines that I recognize:
4:10 Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
4:25 Deep Purple - Burn
Greetings from Chile!
6:06 "On the trail" from Grand Canyon Suite (Comp. Ferde Grofé )
These guys are very underrated and super talented! They both are beautiful bands who’ve composed amazing songs.
Thank you for pick up these greatest groups in Japan!!😊
Our pleasure!
The bass guitar playing deep purple song smoke on the water a few deep purple numbers
Ah! Thank!
One of my favourite album ..SUN released in the 70s.

These are my two favorite jazz fusion bands
You should react to other live songs they did at the same performance! Especially songs like ‘omens of love’ ‘looking up’ and ‘Asayake’ all songs they played live at the same performance they played fightman

Casiopea is way more out there, I agree.
I recommend Euro Star~run into the light
This Number is T-SQUARE

Kawano, the keyboard player who arranged for this live (Burn part of Deep Purple) suffered a stroke and retired from playing music. (He can no longer play, but is concentrating on composing.)
And IZUMI, who played the piano, passed away last spring.
God is cruel.
