  • Today I got to survey a half-burned multi-family home. You can really tell the difference between the burned and unburned side! I hope the families and pets got out ok... Can you guess how and where the fire started?

That was a VERY interesting video. I thought the basement would have a lot of water in it. Maybe it did after the fire but dried up. Wondering if the washer and dryer are still useable. Thanks for making it. New subscriber.

When I was a kid in the late 80’s/early 90’s, I remember seeing a ceiling asbestos removal process somewhere on television (probably an ad or news blip), where all the dudes were wearing what looked like souped-up hazmat suits connected to hoses for external air ventilation, and even with all that protection, they were still standing on step ladders, doing the work from several feet away with tools extended by poles. And whilst watching this, and subsequently relaying it to all my friends later, we were all bemused and sarcastically chuckling as we ruminated over the fact of having been told by several of the adults, that the annex cottage on our church campus, in which we attended Sabbath school, had a ceiling chock-full of asbestos. With one of my friends remarking, “The professionals are dressed like they’re ready for a walk on the surface of the moon, and we’re just sitting here in our shirts and ties.”🫤
With so many other disastrously unhealthy practices and products of that time, especially the heinous leaded-gasoline air pollution, it’s amazing that any of us are still alive. My survival being even more extraordinary when you take into account that I grew up in the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Any of you who are familiar with LA and some of her history in this era, will understand what I’m talking about.😂

8:36 is that a jersey?! Too bad you didn't save it. I would have loved that also go back and see if there's any converse shoes in there. It's better for me to have them and reuse them instead of them going to waste

@AidenBaker1206 It's fine, there's got to be a way to clean stuff and make it back to better condition

Guarantee some asshole will repair it and charge 10x the rent and never tell the new tenants of the fire and they will use shorty work.
