      @@johnmcwick1 The few different food XP bonuses I tried stacking did in fact NOT work. So if 2 of them had a 2% XP bonus and you ate them both, you're still just getting a 2% XP bonus. With that said, best to just use whatever one you can get access to that has the longest effect time. The food bonuses will stack alongside something like well rested though.

      Great video by the way, very to the point and I like that better than all the other ones that tried to explain it. Just felt too slow for me.

      @@johnmcwick1 Yeah I was sort of bummed as well, but also like you said, it does make sense haha. Best of luck on the leveling and thanks for the kind words! I did MANY takes while attempting this video as the whole walkthrough was a live commentary (this meant making any sort of mistakes, hiccups, or just being super picky about something meant a redo) and so it's nice to know any amount of people found it to be good enough. I know it's not perfect, but I did my absolute best with it and especially in terms of being as clear, easy to follow along with, and quick to the point as possible. After many tries before and after providing no better results, I felt this was realistically as good as it was going to get for me haha. Anyway, thank you again, truly.

      Yeah that's a great cherry on top of it honestly. It just gives you constant enemies to easily fly through all of your combat skill ranks with.

    sleeping on Venus for 6 local hours (600 UT hours) resets almost everything like vendor loot, credits, etc. It also despawns all the dead bodies

      Maybe it’s a matter of how many bodies you have stacked up from the facilities, but it doesn’t despawn them all for me, even if I sleep for 24 hours on Venus haha. It does seem to help some though.

      @@DemonAsylum oh damn true. after about 4-5 level ups I end up leaving to reset then come back because at that point there are so many dead bodies I can't tell which is alive or dead with the species I chose

    if you put your difficulty to very easy the creatures are even easier to kill and reward the same amount of xp as any other difficulty

      Very true. While I assumed it would be common sense to put the difficulty on very easy to make this easiest and so didn’t mention it, I could/should have mentioned that like you said, it does NOT lower your potential XP gain as you get the same XP rate regardless of difficulty. I’m sure there are still people that aren’t aware of this and so would think they’d have to struggle with a higher difficulty to get the most out of the method. With that said, thanks for the reminder and for pointing this out!

      @@johnmcwick1 Being on a higher difficulty will NOT result in higher level versions of these creatures spawning from the facilities and that in turn give higher XP. With that said, people can put their difficulty to very easy, have the same level/version of these creatures spawning and in turn get the same amount of XP as they would if they were on very hard. To be fair, these facilities may be an exception to the whole higher difficulty potentially being able to create more higher level enemies thing. They may be spawning a base level/version of the creature is all and so that gives a set amount of XP regardless of difficulty setting. However, that base version does likely get effected by the level of the system that the planet you're on is. So if the same creature could appear on a planet in a level 20 and 70 system, the level 70 system version spawning from these facilities probably provides more XP, or that would make sense anyway.

    I killed and have the flocking roundface herbivore to 100% scan but doesnt tell me i can do outpost production available. I have zoology level 1 for this (never mind it worked it was just a glitch)

    Its kinda wild the exp in this game is so awful and slow that these techniques become absolutely neccessary to actually play the game in a reasonable fashion

      Yeah, my thing is I just can’t imagine having it be fun to get to a pretty high level and where I’ll have even close to all of the skills that I want. I don’t mind a grind, but if it’s not a FUN grind than that’s a different story.

      @@nelson_rebel3907 Agreed, it’s definitely not a bad game. I’ve enjoyed it quite a lot in fact. However, mods can and as they always do with Bethesda games, bring it to the next level. There are already some decent ones, but I’m most looking forward to seeing what all new content gets brought to the game from them such as literal new planets for instance.

    Couldn’t jump to bordanii so i had to go to the one right before the it. farmed animals for an hour just for none to be eligible for outpost production….ig i needa use a skill point in starship design and add a grav drive…to add to that what ship did u use…i have astrodynamics lv 3 and my ship(star eagle) still can’t make it

      There isn’t a different highish level system you can make it to and check out? You don’t have to go to the one I was on. There are many with a decent level and that have worthwhile creatures you can use for this.

    I don't have the option for this. I scanned the animal and its 100%. Nothing but Fabricator is available...

      That means the creature you scanned is NOT eligible to be used for this method. As I mentioned in the video, you HAVE to use a creature that when 100% scanned says "Outpost production allowed" in the details on the bottom right. The ability to craft the Husbandry Facility will only become available after you have at least 1 eligible creature 100% scanned to use with it. Unlike what a couple of people have commented thinking is the case, you do NOT need all of the fauna scanned/completed on the planet. You can see at 2:15 in the video that I don't even have all fauna completed on the planet and I tested it with a brand new planet afterwards to be certain as well. All you need is at least 1 creature that when 100% scanned shows "Outpost production allowed". You should then (with Zoology rank 1 obviously), be able to create a Husbandry Facility.

      I tested it and they unfortunately wont attack given that the creatures are not aggro towards you. Good thought though!

      @@DemonAsylum what about just hitting them once with a pistol to make the hostile? Would u still get xp? Also instead of building all the containers, maybe just one of those hexagon living modules, with a turret on each side with those buildings pointed at each side of the hexagon, im just trying to save ammo and be lazier 😂

      I love the creative thinking you have going on haha. Unfortunately no amount of attacking them seems to make them aggro towards you. With that being said, turrets wont ever get involved. As for the ammo, just use the akila vendor glitch to easily get a ton over and over again for free. I assume you're familiar with it already, but it's linked near the top of the description and also in my pinned comment if not. As for trying to be lazier, I tip it haha, but looks like you still gotta put in a little work for this one 😂

    After clearing the creatures about 3 times they stop spawning and my game crashes

      You're on Xbox correct? I have no idea the limitations on there for outpost building that push the boundaries so to speak and that can cause issues. Just gotta trial/error it I guess. Regarding the feeling as though the spawning is slowing down, I would first recommend having more of the facilities producing creatures. This will of course increase the amount of creatures you have to kill before things slow down and also will add more time it takes to kill them all which means more time for others to spawn as you go. However, if you feel like you're hitting an obvious wall, I'd recommend having a second outpost as close to the first as possible where you have a second farm and that you fast travel to when you again think you're hitting that slow down. While killing creatures at the second outpost/farm, more time will pass for the first to despawn dead bodies and spawn new creatures. Then just rinse and repeat this back and forth. I haven't felt the need to do this personally, but I know it can get to that point and or if you want peak efficiency, the above is what you'll want to do. I covered all of the above in my video just so it's clear as well, but I know it was later on in it and a lot of people probably didn't get there which is fair. Just don't want it being thought that I left all of this out haha.

      so i just hit abit of a dry spot in my farming, im on series x aswell however i went over to the husbandry and theres a control terminal at the front and it allowed me to repair it which spawned in a new set of ads straight away so i assume on the odd times other creatures attack you in the outpost they must damage these consoles like the spacers damage the mining extractors

    My game keeps crashing on xbox series x. Is this not recommended for xbox?

      I can't say for certain one way or the other given a personal lack of testing on there. I remember seeing some people mention lag/crashes if they went CRAZY overboard with the crafting method (if you're familiar with that), but again it seemed only for those that went nutty with it and not something I figured would happen with what I'm showing in this video for instance or on a similar scale anyway.

      I'm on PC with decent specs and so I know I'm not as hardware limited as you may be on the Xbox so I'm assuming that's what is coming into play here. I'm thinking it's more specifically a case of where it may be harder for the game to constantly load in new enemies from so many facilities or as quickly as they do for me at least. That other comment you posted on this video that I gave the second outpost suggestion to should definitely help you out some though. Honestly it's the way to go for anyone trying to make this most efficient, but it might be the main thing that helps with Xbox players in particular too.

      Some of them I know for sure just weren’t scanning a creature capable of being used with the method, but what you said may come into play as well. I honestly didn’t even think of that being a factor. If it’s actually the case than yeah that will naturally be a requirement as well. I’ll have to look into it myself. Thanks!

      Can’t hurt to save here and there, true. You can always set up a second outpost / farm right next to the first one as well so you don’t have to deal with so many stacked up bodies and in turn the lag that may come from them. It also just generally makes things more efficient anyway.

      They’ll just despawn after some time has gone by. If you do a larger amount of facilities than you can have more time go by before doing a full cycle of killing the creatures and so in turn the dead bodies from previous cycles have more time to despawn as well as new creatures having more time to respawn. If you really wanted/needed to due to it truly getting too severe, you could travel to Venus for instance and wait/rest for a while followed by going back. Some people have mentioned that helps. However, if you want to make it even less of an issue/concern while also being more efficient, simply create a second outpost and creature farm as close to your first one as possible. When bodies get too stacked up at one or you see a noticeable slowdown in creature spawns, travel to your second outpost/farm and kill creatures there until the same occurs. Jump back and forth as you see fit.
