XM Studios is excited to present our first Transformers Premium Collectibles series statue,Optimus Prime! The noble leader of the Autobots is immortalized in amazingly detailed 1:10 scale cold-cast porcelain. Each painstakingly handcrafted statue is individually hand-painted with the famous XM quality finish. Crafted from scratch, every nut, bolt and wire is lovingly designed and sculpted ground up by a team in mad love with the Transformers G1 era of cartoons. Inspired by one of our childhood favorite 80s cartoon, we took the G1's iconic form design and XMized them with modern details, to better fit in today's expectations of sophisticated robotry designs. We have spared no effort and designing these original pieces took our core team almost 2 years, resulting in an amazing balance of retro beauty with a sleek modern details. And of course, how can we leave out XM's love of switch out extras? This statue comes with Energon Axe, Leadership Matrix and intricately detailed Cybertron Base and we've even thrown in the Rocket Booster Backpack to give Optimus the added firepower against the Decepticons. This is not all - what's a transformer without it's alternate mode? Yes, this statue comes with a companion statue, the iconic Freightliner FL86 cab over semi truck so collectors can enjoy the beauty of both bot and alternate mode at the same time! I bought mine as the R1 G1 DVD box sets from Rhino, in addition to Beast Wars and Beast Machines. The original animated movie from '86 has been available on Blu-Ray in later years, so you can hopefully still get these if you're old-school and still buy physical discs instead of just streaming TV.

Is your Optimus prime statue made of metal I really like the transformers to I grew up in the 80s to I cry everytime I watch the transformers animated movie the scene with Optimus prime ✌🏻
There are some metal connecting parts, but most of this statue is cold cast porcelain painted to look metallic. Pretty impressive, huh?

Optimis can't without the rocket pack in the pilot episode the Autobots fly because the lore was most likely not as developed
I think that Optimus looking at the screen while shooting is cool because I can just imagine he’s like talking to someone like Rachet or Bumblebee on the screen while shooting down Decepticons and I think it just shows how awesome he is

Since they won't let you transform him they should have at least made the truck model that comes with it to scale with the main sculpture
That would be cool. But it probably would have made it MORE expensive. And finding space to display it would be a lot harder. I believe the intention was for viewers to focus on the robot mode and have the alt mode as a side reference.

Some resin it popped into mind that other then Megatron transforming into a gun, to the Head Masters an Weapon Masters being put into the G - 1 cartoon. Could see his weapon being a type of Transformer, ether a Weapon or Target Masters to maybe type of drone to help him. I think in the cartoon you mentioned, I think they had him using rocked packs. Wild guess setting it up in your man cave might be questionable? Plus cool that there is other statues out there, go for Megatron so you could have both leaders standing near each other.

No. Autobots can not fly. This wasn't established yet in the pilot episodes so that's why you saw them all fly at one point. They later added this advantage tot he Decepticons to make them all the more menacing.
People are saying that they'll pass on the statue for the lack of Transforming and posability but it's not a toy. If they did then it would look more like a toy. So yeah guys the statue stays how it is.

This actually is good displayed with other 1:10 scale statues. You can even have a crossover with those Iron Studios 1:10 statues. Haha
