Thank you Andre! I just purchased several addon plugs for my SQ mixer. Could not, for the life of me, figure out where my serial numbers were (thinking they were serial numbers for the plugins!). It never occurred to me that it was the MIXER serial number! Anyway, thanks for making a very helpful video. I've enjoyed watching many of your SQ related videos. The key to fixing a "Serial doesn't match" error is, you must CAPS lock all the letters. Even though the entry box shows everything as all caps,.it is still case sensitive.
i need help bro...i bought 3 paks for sq7. but i dont know how to install them.. i got the upgrade key....i entered but not working...what am i missing? how do i do it from the begining ? do i need to download something from my computer in a USB flash and then take to my usb mixer port ?
Hi Will, some real live examples: 1) where is SQ serial number? 2) Or the DNA? 3) Entering your serial number wrong twice -> you generate a nice add on key....but it´s not working... 4) You could accidentally aquire an add on for an SQ5, but you have an SQ6 or SQ7. Some people think it doesn´t matter, but of course it does. Cheers mate!
amigo...question....i have 2 mixer sq7 and sq5...if i buy SQ-7 Compressor Pack 1....is it good for both mixer? or i have to buy 2 diferent packs ? double buy ?

Hey Tony, 1) I´m afraid you can´t. The activation code for the Add Ons is generated with help of the serial number of the mixer. Therefore the Add ons are not transferable to another mixer. 2) When A&H introduced the "hypabass", they offered it for a lower price (or was it for free? can´t remember exactly). Other than that, the prices stayed the same. Hope, that helps André

I would definitely like a couple of compressors but the cost is around €100 each. perhaps the complete package is worth it at around €379 for 5 compressors. I downloaded the tube stage for free. I still thought that like the waves there were moments with particular offers

Hi Ly Far, on the SQ mixer every Input and output has exactly one insert. As for your second question: you can have 48 TubeStage Preamps, 48 compressor models on the input channels, 16 compressors on the mix busses (Auxes, Groups, Main, Matrices), 16 GEQs on the mix busses and 8 Add - ons in the FX section. In other words: activate every possible "plug in" and your CPU is still fine with that. Cheers, André

I saw another video but they use smaart software with the sq and I’m pretty sure the routing of the signal is different! I also saw some videos about this using the x32 console, I’m trying to do the same with the sq but I’m not sure I’m doing it right. Thanks against for your videos and the work and time you put on them to help the community of sq users 👍
I bought all add-ons and ask A&H for bill (I do not received it). I wrote about 10-15 emails on all contact, no answer!! I will not buy SQ next time, I have problem now with our accountant department... Horrible company 😢
Really? That´s sad to hear. I have nothing but great experience with the support of A&H. Did you send your mails to: support@allen-heath.com ? I takes only a few days, often only hours, till I get a responds. And have you checked your account at the allen&heath shop? In your "Order History" you can see your receipts (including all taxes). Print them out and your accountant department should be ok with it. Let me know, if that helped. Cheers

Hello Team, if I add , let’s say a DE-ESSER to two individual channels, can I do different de-Esser parameters to any of the two assigned channels?.

Are multibd and dyn eq in effects section or inserts? So if i need drum and vocal reverb and short and long delay how many dyneq or multibd i can add?
