I think I know why Xenoverse didn't get that kind of treatment because it's not like Dragon Ball Z Kakarot they decided to make the storyline about like Goku's life with Jesus life and everything like that that's no Kakarot was made but Xenoverse no like I wouldn't bet I mean you can't get the beans but like you have to pay for this game pass

To add on from the comment above mine, Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ had anime music packs that included some of Kikuchi's tracks, as well as some insert songs, such as Solid State Scouter and Dragon Soul. The Japanese versions of the Tenkaichi/Sparking and Raging Blast games did use tracks by Kikuchi, including the insert songs, however they were typically remixed with a synth, I believe.
The funny thing is that this game was actually rushed: Bandai Namco is required to produce a Dragon Ball game once a year to hold the licensing, and 17th of January was the latest they could release the game. If it was up to them, a far more polished game would have been released in May or June. It's honestly surprising that CC2 was able to produce a solid game with so much focus on art and music with the little time they had to do so.

Dbz kakarot...best dbz game ever. And yes I grew up with budokai 3, tenkaichi 3 and raging blast...my wish was to roam freely in the dbz universe and the land of the kais!

They really should start making DLCs based off the movies such as Tree Of Might, Lord Slug, Cooler's Revenge, Super Android 13, Bojack: Unbound, and Fusion Reborn. Also with the story based from the movie to play through as well as the villains from those storylines.

I just got this game about 3 days ago at the time of writing this and I just got to this arc and god I've been looking forward to it since the buu arc is my personal favorite. Probably in the minority there but oh well
previously on dragon ballz kakkorot goku and vegeta are struggling to defeat the mighty kidbuu so goku had the only tequniq to defeat him by using the spiritbomb
Some scenes in the game are done better than the anime and it's thanks to the fantastic music. One scene that was in the sayaman saga when you tell bulma your entering the tournament, then vegeta says he's going to as well. Then you hear Goku voice say count me in too and this track plays.... God dam he's always missing, but the joy you feel when he's back is on par with the characters
