I have a Japanese Village theme and mine is just bamboo, cherry blossom lanterns, lion dog statues, enclosed with zen fence ❤❤ sometimes simple is just as pretty
I like to build cliffs around mine and add secret areas behind and add cute stuff on top of the cliffs

my airport is like 10 blocks from resident services and it was such a pain to terraform. i wish i had known how important res’ location was
I wish you could move resident services so much. itd be both so helpful for those with close entrances and the possibilities for cliffs with resident services on would be really cool
Mine is off to the left and close to the beach. I wish I'd known too. I wish my resident services was in line with my airport

Watching this made me realize how far away my resident services is from my airport, but they’re on the same line(if that makes sense) so I have a large area to play with but it gives me headaches thinking about how to fill the space up.😅😅

my resident services is 7 spaces from airport. it’s not centered either but it’s directly in front, also it’s in the corner of the island so only like ~15 spaces to the left is the beach. can you do a video on how to decorate EXTREMELY close res services?

I’d love to watch someone build from scratch, Iv seen many speed builds but for my head that doesn’t show how to get between those areas and where to place those areas it’s just a spot chosen and a build (which are always amazing lol) but not where how why when who 😂 I am so so so so dumb I know it idk why I got the game my brain isn’t made for that creation and it makes me super sad because I was so excited for it then it came I started seeeing these type videos and it made me flatten my island now I’m stuck :(

I was about to make a mistake I was gonna ask you to go to my island but it kinda going through some stuff right now lol 😆. I am trying to get it to 3 stars and I have none I am working on it. It is very difficult and very stressful. Tom nook is making me do everything and I have no help so for everything it takes me like a week to do everything.

None of these had a yellow airport, and I have a yellow airport. Makes me wonder if people make sure they don't have a yellow one.. the only thing I like about the nook miles items is the pink drink machine... I want to make another island but don't want to delete my old one!!! :(
Actually a lot of people try for a yellow airport, especially for springcore or Cottagecore islands

It's random! You can see the distance when you're picking your map at the very beginning of the game.

Just out of curiosity why does it matter if residential services is far or close? I was just trying to watch some designs but the fact that it kept coming up kept bugging me, lol I don’t care how far or how close it is!
A lot of people do care! The proximity of res services to the airport can hinder the amount of terraforming you can do, so I like to be clear about distance when discussing different designs
