Please keep them coming as there are not many rs3 owners out there uploading content with ideas and diy’s. I have a 17 RS3 sedan in white with the black optics pack, and I absolutely love it!
You got the better year! Ours is a 2018, and 17'-18' has a recall for cpu update, but no big deal since our tuner was aware of it and they tuned out the issues anyway. Thanks for the comment! Vossen wheels are amazing with many options.
I got my Rs3 from the dealer staggered, am i able to go to a square set up without any calibration of the traction control, speedometer, etc? I called Audi and they say I have to stick with staggered forever :/. i hope this is not true.
I can't talk for the dealers and I definitely don't think I'm an expert, but the fact is that our RS3 decouples from the rear, so the rear don't matter too much. I would definitely run the same (or close to the same) tire height in the front tires. So I squared it, but kept the front tire height the same. You think about it, different manufactures makes different tire compounds too. That should effect the way traction control reacts, but It doesn't (in a way). That's my tiny 2 cents.
@@ClarenceValeros Again, I'm no expert and you shouldn't relay on my judgement. I would ask a tire/wheel shop and they would probably know how to handle this question better. Since I went with oem size front, but technically wider due to the manufacturer of the tire. I haven't seen any unusual errors and check engine lights came on at all.
Do you have any rubbing when pushing it hard on twisty roads or over bumps? And do you know the measurements from fender to ground (i have just bought coilovers myself and i like your stance).
No I do not having any rubbing. I just 1 index finger gap from the tire to the fender. Not too scientific, but I did get it professionally aligned after I was done setting it up. Find out how tall is 255-35/19 are and my index finger is about 3/4 wide and you'll have your measurement.
I’m looking at brixton forged wheels for my rs3 . 19x9 et 35. I’m lowered about 3/4” do you think it’ll rub? Is that too an aggressive of an offset? Thanks
I'm no expert, but it probably depends on the tire you put on it honestly. If you went with what I have 255 then for sure it will rub without mod to the fenders. If you stretch the tire a bit with 235 then probably just fine.

I think a 40 offset on the rears would still have given you the flush stance you achieved with the spacers.

Yes! In fact, the rear can fit much larger than the front depending on wheel offset. You'll see that I run the square stance now too.

Really love the rims ! Would you say these fit on an A3 2017?
The rear would but your front would need some stretching since the RS3 has 20mm wider fenders over the A3 and S3.
what did you do for tpms?
The RS3 uses a hub reading sensor instead of tpms, so none needed.

Do you know if these will clear the carbon ceramic brakes? “Square up” I’m dead bro haha
The carbon ceramic brakes are the same size as the steel ones, just made with that carbon good stuff. So in theory it should clear.
