2. No. No one SHOULD be mad that you missed bars. You caught way more than I did on my first listen and I've listened to Tech for about 20 years and had already heard NF's entire catalog when this came out.

This should be part of “the journey.” Fame is Satan. Satan is temptation. Intro II - “Satan keeps calling, he trying to flirt.” (Anytime you hear a phone ring or reference to a call, it’s Satan/Fame.)
In Trust, Nate tells us he repels the temptations of Satan/Fame, by keeping himself humble/not feeding into his ego…..

I love Tech seen him in concert 3 times and always never disappoints. The fact Nate was able to keep up shocked me cause Tech is the king of speed rap. But his speed raps have substance unlike other artists who just spit fast.

Man, this has really been the year for top collabs for Tech. If you haven't heard it, you really should check out "This is War" by Gawne with Tech and Atlvs. Probably one of the best rap songs released this year.

When you asked what he did with his voice there... It's part of Techs originality that makes him a legend. He is not only rhyming in a harmony with the beat at a medium-high speed but he projects his voice with a Rollercoaster effect instead of remaining flat like most rappers.
NF, Sadistik, Aesop Rock, Sage Francis, Eyedea and Abilities...there's some artists that are on a whole different level...

You are right Dev this every aspect of this song is a masterpiece. It is a work of art. Nate has said he is finding it hard to write the next album. I am sure it is partly because this Clouds Mixtape stepped up the game so much it is a high bar to create another album the continues getting better every album. In the comments Jefferey said he thinks Fame is Satan. I don't know if I agree Fame is Satan but the idea that this song should be part of the Journey is spot on by Jeffrey n the comments. Nate snuck one buy us and added a new chapter to the journey. I think he stands alone and is not Fame. He is probably more closer to Pride than Fame.
