OMG...that has to be the biggest throw of the year. Red had a great eco and a great plan with the side bases but didn't seem to use them properly. I mean just those resources...the game ended with him having 12,7k wood, 5,7k food, 4,5k gold and 1,2k stone. He should've spammed massive amount of high quality units to simply overwhelm Blue with numbers. Or he could simply learn to better control his army and also protect his trebs. But also respect for Blue. He didn't do everything right, hadn't had that much eco or resources but what he could do with them and with the small amount of units he had allowed him to hold on and win.

As he was leaving, he tore off his shirt, shook his hips 3 times, and said "Who's the Chicken now, b**ch?" What T90 did not know is that Jim was actually related to Smarthy. She swore to avenge Jim. But just like her beloved Malay Two-Handed Swordsman, her fighting skills were trash. So she left on a journey, improving her abilities. Even now, she's traveling the world, working to be strong enough to avenge Jim. She was last seen in Mongolia learning how to Hunt and Wrestle. I've been scared of sharing this story for a while. Scared of T90 and what he might do. The streets don't call him "The Grandma Sniper" for no reason. But I will not hold back anymore. I will live for Truth. And now you know the truth too. I will continue to share all the other AOE2 stories so that the newcomers can learn about this community. If there are any stories you want to share with me, reach out to me. I think daily uploads are a ridiculous schedule to sustain and it saddens me to see that so many creators on YT feel that that's what it takes to be successful. I'd rather see less content from them so they can have a life outside of their job and stay healthy, physically and mentally.

I just got my fastest feudal time ever like 5 minutes ago. It was just on the tutorial but I got it in 8:12. That's over a minute faster than my previous record. If I can setup hotkeys, under 8:00 should be in the bag :D
I liked reds start. Personally: would put all research based buildings in main base area, not out in open and just keep them working until i had everything. Once i get most of the tech id do the zerg rush. -me, a player who only sometimes plays the game and mostly has only done campaign and struggles on "normal".
You’re right to keep the research buildings in the back, but turtling until you have “everything” doesn’t work in multiplayer, even in arena games. It’s more about committing to an army composition and research what you need specifically for that. More than that is too slow and a competent opponent will kill you before you are ready to attack. Plus researching everything means you are wasting resources on bonuses you don’t use.
Candy canes are best for melting into hot cocoa, not for eating directly. On the actual subject of the video, this was an absolute classic LEL! Red had some very clever plans, and did enough right that many players in Blue's position would have GG'd, but he toughed it out, and Red eventually made a dozen wrong decisions too many. In the form of a multiple choice question, after failing to finish Blue when he had him double flanked, Red got: A: Not Wrecked [ ] B: Wrecked [ ] c: Tyrannosaurus Wrecked! [X]
Its crazy how they can be so good in some moments but so terrible in others, like red, just build the castle with all the vills, having that one vil trying to build the castle against the monk was so painful to watch
Im 850-900 elo and love playing random but have Japanese as my fall back I like coming up with my plan on the fly based on my civ (and love learning new civs) but if they choose to pick I go aggressive men at arms with defensive towers and little to no walls Aggression is my weakness I suck at being aggressive but am learning and Japanese Long swords shred buildings

I love red's idea to go aggressive early, even if those first castles are sacrificial. It prevented blue from executing the classic Spanish Inquisition Castle Drop on him. However, his army management was very poor. And that's why he lost.
Mosquitos are the bane of my existence. That's one of the reasons I will only live in regions with cold winters. I need that mosquito-free season! Also, I'm basically a walking space heater permanently set to "overdrive", so I tend to shrug off cold, but collapse from heat exhaustion if I do anything more strenuous than walking at any temperature above 80 F/26.67 C. I blame my Viking ancestry...

Red was just trying to show T90 why there was the 80 elo difference. I have definitely noticed a lot of people around my level know how to do some crazy should be game winning strategy, but not how to win the game with it.
