when producing vils or units form buildings, dont forget to hold shift when clicking so you create 5 at a time, more efficient. Also, if you're in apinch, hold alt then press f4 if you need to create units from ALL military buildings. Peace.
This is 100% the reason I bought this game as a kid. Loved playing 3 hour long black forest games in the age of kings demo where you could only reach castle age
Is that the key to getting those really long slug it out games against AI, limiting the game to castle age? The way it is now for me is EITHER I crush them with minimal resistance or they catch me way too early with a gigantic army I'm not prepared to fight. So game don't tend to go past the hour mark. It's just one long battle. I want a long ass game like when I was a kid, when the AI gave me time to warm up, but wouldn't skimp on the army/vill production 40 minutes into the game. Sorry I'm high.
@@aalexandromoreno that’s what I do. Once bombards and trebs enter the game, defensives become less of a hinderance, and thusly the game ends more quickly

I absolutely love when the video is at a point where I'm watching and think "well, looks like this is just about wrapped up" and then see that it's only 1/3 of the way through. Means there's some content to come!
I love "Nomads". It is such a fitting tech for the Mongols and comes in clutch especially in Nomad maps where you use your mobile cavalry to outflank and harras enemy forces/eco when you are heavily outnumbered and overrun. I have won numerous battles as the Mongols just because I did not have to worry about building houses anywhere and when they get taken down, slowing the enemies advance as I hit them from different angles. This brilliant Mongol victory all started with the Nomads tech ,freeing the player from worrying about being housed and focussing on his superb battlefield command.
It’s like red’s army units started looking for somewhere to lie down whenever blue’s onagers came on scene. Dude killed FIFTEEN arbalests in that one epic shot!
Ditto. That was painful and awesome to watch at the same time. I've never seen so many sick onager shots in one game. And he only used one at a time! Like a boss...
Sheeeeesh... Started playing ranked games recently and have been sliding down to my Elo thinking I may settle around 700, but watching blues micro I think I may have a few more games to lose.... That Oneger micro was nuts!
Nah. I think although blue micro was good (and I rooted for blue all game), he did not lose because of red passivity and refusal to raid. If red decided at any point to just send calv and attack villagers constantly while running away from the onagers, Blue would have lost. Red tried to just charge a player with superior micro head on instead of using the mobility advantage of its unit composition and avoid the micro all together.
Ronager was AMAZING! One unit with over 90 kills. 😳 I expected more of a "life celebration" moment from T-900 over that one. Other than that, his commentary was SO GOOD (as usual). Love his ability to balance humor, sarcasm, coaching, and respect for the effort in his reviews. 👍
@@737smartin He had good KDs on most the onagers. Yet his KD lead wasn't that high. So the onagers must have made up a huge percentage of his damage for how few there actually were.
I think what made this game amazing is that it started out almost comical with stuff like Ron, the trebuchet shot hitting a boar, the mills instead of houses etc and then it turned into a nailbiting match between a guy with clearly superior macro and a guy with clearly superior micro. Also the necessary white knuckle comeback.
Even when Red had 10k+ more gold through most of the game, Blue still maintained a really good K/D. Trash rarely trade well on numbers, but Blue managed it.

Love the vids man, long ones like this I use almost like podcasts while I work my data entry jobs, looking up to get a break from the monotony whenever something exciting happens in the gameplay
24:21 ah yes, way too realistic. Who doesn't remember the Malian folklore story where a peaceful boar in an enemy village has been crushed by a freaking trebuchet shot :D It's a classic and childrens bedtime favourite.
Nice back and forth fighting with solid army control, eco and production are decent as well to back it up. Not perfect of course but for that elo this seems very good. Very fun to watch. Props to both players.

And yes, I didn't know that shift allows to queue 5 units at a time - late game queueing has been always very annoying for me.

T90 we totally have to watch another one of Curry Munchers games just encase we get another Ronager. The mans a god. Best game I've watched all year xD
This has been incredible, like some of the other commenters, I played AOE when I was a kid, and I loved it. It was my first RTS, and to be clear, I sucked at it. Me and my friends would set up these gigantic random map games on LAN (Also on games like 'Empire Earth', and 'Empires: Dawn of the Modern World'), we would team up against a team of AI players, our strategy was always to fortify our bases, hold off the AI attacks, and try to build up a massive coalition force to take the victory. A very simplistic strategy in retrospect, and we would often lose because the ai would have a far superior economy, and we relied too heavily on towers and walls to protect our bases. It was so much fun though, we would have games that would go on for 8-12 hours, chugging energy drinks, and yelling strategy information back and forth at each other. I was like 10-14 in those days though, this makes me want to go back and play again.
Blue is the embodiment of the saying "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." and this man has practiced his Onager attack grounds.
Watched it all the way through, loved it. I've played 20 online games now and still trying to stabilise my elo but I'd be happy to be in this range with this talent 11
I think the shift + queue thing flew over us back in the day since we sucked so much our macro was never good enough to produce that many anyways. That and the campaigns usually had like criminally low population caps.
Made it to the 2 hour mark, i was watching aoe2 for quite some time and last year i stopped watching it. But recently im back watching ur video´s T90 and i really like it to just chill with a 1 hour video from you! Keep on the work. Greetings from Ravi from the Netherlands
Hands down the best game I've ever seen and I've been watching both T90 and MembTV since 2015. Incredible onager micro. Low elo games >>>> professional games and tournaments. Yeah they don't have the same quality of play and they make tons of mistakes the pros never would, but the entertainment factor is inimitable.
A great competition between Red's macro and Blue's micro. This game is a perfect example why it's great to watch a Black Forest game and also why it's sometimes annoying to play. Also sometimes it's really shame that AoE doesn't have the mechanism where units level up based on the number of their kills.
The legend of Lil-CurryMuncha. Blue's resources efficiency was so good in this game they had half as much gold as red did and was still able to push red back. While red kept throwing away so many gold units. What an incredible game 500 elo is scary good these days.
"I would have loved to see the gg but I don't even know if players at that elo can type" .. it's amazing that we can hear that from all the way down here xD
Holy crap, what an amazing game. THIS is low-ELO these days? That's terrifying! I feel like after a game like this, Blue could teach a masterclass on unit micro and asymmetrical warfare! I sent this video to a friend, calling it "Shades of Ace Combat 04" for its storyline. What an amazing play by Lil-CurryMuncha! I'll be surprised if he's not either a smurf, or a future solid mid-ELO player at least.
Man.. This game is absolutely LEGENDARY!!! I have enjoyed it so much, you cant even imagine! =)) That player is an onager GOD! =) Merry Christmas and happy NY all!... P.S. Wife's acc, Im a man , was too lazy to re-log. GRAND THKS for upload and cast!!!
I've never played this game, to be honest I don't have a huge interest in trying to learn it, it seems like too much micromanagement. But somehow T90 makes these games amazing to watch, I always come back to his content. This man could spend 2 hours commentating paint drying and I'd watch it
I feel like these guys have the play experience of a low Elo player but they've both at least watched a ton of high Elo games because they both seem to have a good grasp of the game for such low Elo
I love the snow maps, but it drives me nuts to see crops growing lol. I used to make custom maps where you couldn't build farms in the snow. You had to hunt, fish, and I'd have a timer that would spawn more sheep, deer, wolves, boars
I mean exited about black forest, but honestly was creating crazy idea of what the video was about when I saw the thumbnail "Great low elo bf"... its hard to not be disappointed lol, was hoping for a love story for the ages

This was a very low quality Low Elo! Bring back the ones that are truly legends :)
Honestly, red will jump up by 100 ELO and blue by 200 ELO if they just discover what the market does.
It's a great feeling when T90 is calling it at 50 minutes, only to see that there's 40 minutes left to the video.
I made it the two hours. What an insane game.
I have never been more on the edge of my seat watching those onager shots
The wait paid off
This game has an insane amount of twists and turns. I'm not even done watching it either.
Thank you for this game, T90.
Just, thank you. Amazing.
wow, great game, made it to the end in one sitting too :)
That was a fun watch. Thanks T90. This drink is dedicated to the Onager of Death.
great video just caught up on a bunch of videos on the channel and so much fun as always
Watching this back and WOW this is ONE great game
Great viedo, watched the whole thing from start to finish.
"I would have loved to see the gg but I don't even know if players at that elo can type" .. it's amazing that we can hear that from all the way down here xD
What a game. What an onager play. WHAT AN ONAGER PLAY! Oh my god. Splat after splat. Incredible.
RIP Ronager.
Around 6 minutes and 45 seconds he misses the opportunity to say Genghis Ron
This man could spend 2 hours commentating paint drying and I'd watch it
I fell asleep around 20 min and woke up at 45min with an entire game left to watch.
Just leaving a comment for the RUclips algorithm. More people need to see this, it truly was a great game! ❤
I feel like these guys have the play experience of a low Elo player but they've both at least watched a ton of high Elo games because they both seem to have a good grasp of the game for such low Elo
THE BEST GAME in Low ELO Legend series. Truly LEGENDARY. 🔥🔥
"Koyuncu" is what the villagers say when you task them to sheep when playing as Turks
Koyun means *Sheep* in turkish.
I made it. You'll definitely catch me sitting through a 2 hour dark forest game.
Those onagers were game changers for blue but damn what a back and forth game GG
Thought for sure that the title was hyperbolic/clickbait; turns out that the title “lowest elo ever” does indeed check out.
RUclips stopped recommending your videos to me. I just came back and wow I had forgot that you are an excellent commentator.
this deserves a low elo tournament!
I made it to the 2 hour mark. Dude!!! Those shots! I wish I could micro like that!
T90, I watch 100% of all your videos... but on 2x speed 🤣your normal voice sounds so deep whenever its not sped up so much LOL
What an incredible game!! Blue's micro so entertaining
Really like how well they're playing for being low elo they have huge potential to move up in elo for sure.
I love the snow maps, but it drives me nuts to see crops growing lol. I used to make custom maps where you couldn't build farms in the snow. You had to hunt, fish, and I'd have a timer that would spawn more sheep, deer, wolves, boars
That was a hell of a game. Blue's micro is godly!
I mean exited about black forest, but honestly was creating crazy idea of what the video was about when I saw the thumbnail "Great low elo bf"... its hard to not be disappointed lol, was hoping for a love story for the ages
