Honestly that is the risk you run with brawls. There are no rules about changing the rules. Honestly I just asume this is going to happen and try to play accordingly. Then again imho I think the true toxicity of the for honor community is all these arbitrarily gentleman’s rules that people expect you to follow.
To be perfectly fair, the constant blockstun into crashing charge into ledge really is shitty, because you don't really have any counterplay to it other than "don't get hit or throw an attack or be within 100 feet of a ledge". 2v2 is obviously the point of Brawl but this video looks more like a case study of FH's issues with map design and questionable balance decisions, which extend beyond Brawl.

I never said it was wrong to play like that. What I said is if you do choose to play like that, don't act surprised when you get a strong / salty reaction from the other players
Sir Random that’s why this game will never grow passed mediocracy, because the most optimal way of playing is also the most toxic rage inducing way possible and that’s a shame because I love the game and it’s so sad that the devs can’t find a way to handle all this bs
I’d be irritated too if an annoying warlord simply did nothing but crashing charge me while his teammate immobilized me. No offense freeze, I like your videos but this is just bad form. It’s in the game but that doesn’t mean it isn’t frustrating for multiple reasons.
i dont get your point, unless it was stated to be 2 1v1's than you shouldn't be annoyed about it, since a warlord spamming crashing charge in a gank on dominion has most likely happened to you anyways, so whats the difference in brawl
ChrisHoostin I never said it couldn’t be a real 2 v 2, that’s not the annoying part. I’m also not particularly happy when crashing charge spam happens on Dom but I live with it because it’s Dom and ethics should be out of the window. You saw all the easy kills that coordinated crashing charge spamming got. It’s just easy to do and if they just repeat it over and over then you’re as good as dead. It’s frustrating because sometimes like with the Nobushi, you don’t have an opportunity to actually play the game. Also as a nitpick it’s foolish to try and police what people can and can’t be frustrated at. I don’t send hate mail, I don’t spam the chat unless I’m doing a meme, I try to avoid toxicity, but I do get frustrated at things. I’m a human. Buuuut, I don’t want them to take away crashing charge either because I prefer the game to have more mechanics than less. So it’s more or less something we have to live with. Still frustrating sometimes. All you can do is try to counter it.
I enjoy real brawls, but i agree that they should be announced first out of courtesy. The character picks needed to have a competitive 2v2 match are just so different than 1v1's, that usually if you aren't expecting to 2v2, you get blown out of the water. the way i see it if my opponent isn't fully prepared to play their best, then the game is meaningless. the whole "duels exist for a reason" response has some merit, but its not like it takes any effort to type a few letters to make sure everyone has a good time. Some people like brawls for the social aspect, not for 2v2's, and accounting for that shouldn't take any fun away for you.
I think this hits the nail on the head here. If you go into a brawl match expecting two 1v1's there is nothing wrong with that, but if you don't have the right character picks you are going to get demolished no matter how good you are. There are some characters that are just simply way better in gank situations, and some that are better in duels.
Nothing against your playstyle but Warlord/LB/Raider tactics are among the things I think are cancerous for the game. There is no counter play, if the teammate locks you in GB frames, parry frames, or force a dodge, you have no choice but to eat the charge. In ganks that's just what it boils down to, having that one player waiting in the sidelines waiting for you to be helpless to counter. The fact that there is no actual counter play is the issue.
There is counterplay, you don’t get block stunned, you stop the block stunner. For raider and warlord you can get as close as possible to the charger and he can’t charge. As for impale you have less counterplay, if you roll to beat the incoming GB you get impale, if you attack the GBer you can get impaled, you can roll early and hope it throws the LB off is about it. And there’s a lot other moves like this, this is actually what the majority of 4v4 competitive depth is based on and why it’s so disappointing to see many of you dismiss competitive 4s
@@Mortspaz Yeah. and at parts like 8:00 where he ledges the Nobushi then does a brief emote spam. I agree that brawls should be/are brawls, not 2 1v1s, and that the salty players weren't in the right either with their responses, but being somewhat toxic in the first place isn't really helping the situation.
It actually boggles me that 3 years after this games' launch people still go bonkers over 'honour' like if it bothers you that much someones ganking or doing real 2's just ride the match out and find someone else or go play duels. Most salt farming gankers in 2's are the most obvious shit in the world it's hard to get mad at, it's just funny.
@@Athaeme Yeah, the only thing I can say to defend that is the they're being cautious of feeding revenge, but some people deadass just watch you in the back while you get ganked.

secuter Not the player’s fault. The devs are responsible for implemented such a move and tactics. Easy solution is to make brawl maps like ranked duels and seal off all ledges.
@@SilentLegion96 The devs doesn't decide how you play. You can decide play in a trolling manner and run in circles to try and grab the enemy to ledge them; or you can decide not to. @@lepyramid5730 excuse me! I was never debating in what way brawls should be played. In my personal opinion 2v2 should be played Gank-style. I really don't like the whole environmental hazard stuff. Takes the fun out of the game tbh. But that's ubisoft's fault for adding them in. Just like it's their fault that the game is dead because their fixes takes years.
@Lou Fay They can do that. It don't take any skill to purposely position and exploit the environment for ledge kills. I don't mind because I would've done the same thing, lol. But I can understand why people get mad at it.
@Lou Fay That wasn't what was happening though. People rarely get Guardbroken and thrown into hazards. Freeze was just crashing charging into the guys to ledge them. Which I'm ok with. It's a 2v2 and "honor" doesn't really matter. However, you can see why people are getting salty when you have one person stun locking you while another charges you into walls or off ledges.
Lou Fay the “be aware of your surroundings” argument doesn’t really work when every map is littered with ledges. The problem is not as bad in brawls as in dominion, sure, but you are always within 3 well directed crashing charges of a ledge. Considering you would be forced into said crashing charges by hitstun, you’re still likely to get ledged not matter how good your positioning is.
I totally agree with Vefin. There is no point of doing a match against people that constantly try to ledge you. No-one improves there skills or learn anything, and in my opinion For Honor should be all about that. Sorry man, I think this time you are totally in the wrong.
and why aren't all of you mad at the map designers then? I made a whole video calling out that shit and half the community yelled "babyproofing" at me.
@@fkkfreeze The majority of the map design is bad for Brawls. They should change the map pool entirely to the arena type of gameplay and there'd be less of a dispute over what Brawls are for. Abusing the bad map design by using a Warlord's charge and ledging is still a personal choice that makes the brawl, well.... boring. I can understand a bit of salt if I was going against a Warlord who was purposefully ledging the entire game because of a bad map design. Anyway, love your content Freeze, your one of the reasons I started the game back up again 🙏.
FatRefrigerator Well, in my opinion, that’s because people treat them as such. To be honest, the constant ledging probably brought out the toxicity in the last one. I can see that infuriating anyone. I'm guessing that brawls are so toxic because a high number of people play them because they don't like the ganking of dominion/breach/etc. but still want more of a reward than duel matches give (because duels don't give you anything in terms of XP or gear). When they are immediately thrown into a 2v1, that's when the salt comes out. A solution to this would be to make duels give you more XP and gear after a match than they currently do, because it's literally the ONLY mode where you can't be ganked to ridiculous degrees. Even an 8 or 4 person free-for-all would be a step in the right direction.

It's rough to not sympathize with both positions originally brawls were designed to allow for both methods of fighting and so non of them are inherently bad , and there is a case to be made for real brawls , after all , the game even suggests real brawls as one way to play the mode . yet a lot of players seem to enjoy the fact they can trust the enemy not to jump on them like dominion , and kinda draw pleasure from this sensation of trust . and this have happened a lot that many have taken it for granted that brawls should always be honorable . it gets complected when someone expects an honorable brawl * cause that's how many players play the mode * and chooses something like nuxia for fun and ends up against a team of two who choose heroes like BP and JJ and are looking for real brawl he would be at an extreme disadvantage , which would force him to not play brawl as often or play it without choosing the hero he prefers . so i wouldn't be keen to simplifying honorable brawls as stupid and how it's not how brawls should be played , both are valid . and we should understand both positions
@@Sam-A that's my preference. If i want a honorable fight to try a new character I play duels or customs. If I want to brawl I play brawls... it's a great way to learn how to group fight without getting destroyed by a full team of shugokis XD.

While I dont really disagree with you on the point what brawls are 2v2, abusing the absence of attention from devs to how ledge heavy brawl maps are by spaming offscreen crushing charge is very dirty and not something you would enjoy to play against or to play as, that is if you have no goal to annoy people.
A long time ago people realized that 2v2 had a shorter queue time then 1v1 so instead of just waiting for the 1v1 queue time they just went to 2v2 and forced their "honor code" on to people and shammed those who still wanted to do 2v2. It literally got to the point that now you have to say uh guys can we do a real brawl as they reply with no and either you accept their choice or you just do a brawl but instead it is a 2v1 because your teammate must uphold the honor code.
The 1v1 queue is still mad long, and the community still improvises by 1v1'ng in 2v2. At least let's all be on the same page by simply saying, real 2v2. So when they start getting 2v1'ed, least they had a warning.
I think playing against a premade group while solo queuing is what actually causes players to get salty in the brawl. It can be frustrating to fight in the brawl against a team that able to communicate better against you and your random teammate. I want to say that it's better to have matchmaking that separates between solo and group players but then again it is doubtful that it will be a good idea to split even more the relatively small player base of for honor.
@@cathetel.1771 Depends what Rep/skill level the game assigns you. A buddy of mine who just started playing gets into brawl games super quickly, while I have at least a 5+ minute queue ahead of you. PC for context.
I’m also on PC, in OCE games on all platforms die very quickly so even if I was low rep which I have tested with a second account it’s impossible to find a match sadly
The 2v1 makes it so good. When you block an attack, you get stuck in block stun and can't dodge. The charge has iirc a 500ms startup, so even my grandma should be able to react to it in a 1v1.
There is so much unfair mechanisms in this game that it’s hard to take it seriously. For exemple, in brawl if you and your buddy are still alive but there is only 1 opponent remaining, you can just run around the map and win when the time runs out.
one time I had a dude actually invite me into his party so he could trash talk and then say "get outta my party" and kick me after he got beat by me practicing glad deflects and switched to his rep 60 nobushi
You can’t call people salty after tanking them in brawls. Most people fight the person they are opposite and then fight the next guy if their teammate dies. If anything your the ones being toxic.
Are you surprised that people are salty when you go out of your way to be as annoying as possible? And I'm not talking about 2v2. The one match where you played Kensei instead of running around with warlord doing nothing but charging people there was no salt. Who would've thunk?

You can 2v2 that's fine. But you're also actively trying to salt farm and troll. Then you act like it's not your fault when you get a reaction out of people.
I play it as 1v1's most games simply to avoid the salt. Honestly I think I'd have more fun with real 2's but no one ever wants to. And I don't count jumping into a 2v1 after defeating your opponent 1v1 as a real 2's. That's something that kind of pisses me off. The few times I have played real 2's it was a blast, and my kensei shined bright. Good times.
Well asking in allchat doesn't hurt at least if you enjoy the playstyle. It avoids salt from any reasonable person as well, and the other types of people would get angry if you shredded them in 1v1 anyway.
I'm fine with "real brawls" but the idea that it's how brawls are supposed to be played is just untrue. Many maps put you miles away to fight each other, and even the ai has always gone for fighting one person instead of switching between the two constantly. If you do want to fight the "real brawls" ask first. Even if you think it's the right way to play, the majority of people don't think so and will simply fight 2 1v1s. If you play real brawls because you don't like people's rules about honor and you refuse to play brawls normally, you're going with your own rules which make as much sense as honor rules, if not less. Just ask to play real brawls if you want to play real brawls, but don't just do it out of the start.
I agree on the fact that many maps put you miles away from each other. In their last game on Citadel Gate Freeze's teammate literally just ran away from his fight across the whole bridge twice to ensure it would be a 2v2. Real 2's is one thing on maps like The Ring, but going out of your way to break combat and "gank" when the enemy is trying to fight you in the first area always rubs me the wrong way.

As long as the people who are playing in a certain way continue playing in that way it's fine by me either way. Ganking somebody because you lost 2 rounds in the 1v1 1v1 style is poor sportsmanship for sure though. I'm conflicted about ledgeing though. I definitely feel like it's in poor taste, but if someone ledges me then I'm just gonna take it as a green light to do the same.

I enjoy 2v2s, a lot more than 4v4s tbh because its clearer what's actually happening and you have a chance to actually fight back without having to resort to bp's flip or just building revenge as jorm, but lets be real. Just spamming out crashing charge is pretty low, like once is fine and two's pushing it but you literally did it til you ran out of stamina. What this video essentially shows is "here, I'm doing a shitty thing and people are not happy with it". Not your finest moment, Frieza. but to be clear, the people getting mad about 2v2's are dumb. It's just the constant crashing charge I have issue with.
Just because he plays real 2's? Just because he wanted to have a little fun? One of the teams called him a fucking cunt before the match even started. I wouldn't be surprised for the lack of education these players have because of the quarantine.
I think you misunderstood what I meant. It's not about how to play certain game modes. It's about the fact that his content changed big time and I'm not a big fan of his "new" content. But, that's only me and nothing more, no hate :)
no one plays duels its always on low activity. if I'm with a friend I want to see what he's doing and it seems plenty of people feel the same way. Only after several brawl matches with entirely new players will I ever encounter someone not treating it as a 1v1; if most people are doing it that way then its a slimy tactic to do it the other way and catch em by surprise. solo queue brawls can also just be more fun because the action doesn't end right after you kill your opponent, assuming your teammate dies.
Dang freeze. I appreciate your frame checks and max punish videos, and I find your opinion pieces to be hit or miss for me which is totally fine in my opinion, maybe even as it should be. But this is kinda distasteful. I don't mind playing brawls a certain way, that is not my argument. But you seem to have dressed it up as if you're trying to see if brawls are salty, and then actively go as far as you possibly can to make people salty. The thing that seriously hits the nail into the coffin is how childish you are reacting to the comments as well. We're not mad that you don't fight brawls like most people, we were just expecting you to play brawls and have salty encounters, not actively farm it. Trust me as someone who plays brawls all the time with a friend, you *DON'T* have to farm it dude. If you don't get a salty duo within 3 matchups its a godsend. You so easily could've proven your point without doing what seems like fixing the results. "I was curious if it REALLY is such a salt mine as people claim" - from your intro It is. 100%. The reason people say it isn't because they think its easy to farm it, but because it just so naturally flows for no reason. You can play as 'honorable' as possible and you'll get death threats for turtling/light spamming even if you weren't. Perhaps if you have a more overall point you should try to make it very clear. I was suprised when the intro ended and it cut to just you doing commentary while ledging/ganking. What is your point in doing all of this? I'm just watching 2 people play for honor in a way that isn't fun to do or watch. Just to be clear, I have no problems with you PLAYING this way, I'm totally cool with it. I just didn't know what you were trying to convey with it. Were you trying to point out a bad system? Talk about poor map design choices? Unhealthy abilities some heroes have? If any of those were your intention I didn't quite see it though I want to be very clear, I didn't watch the video all the way through. And call it stupid to critique something I haven't seen completely, but if you've failed to get me to watch then the content is a less pressing issue than the initial presentation/hook in my opinion. I was initially confused as to why you were going out of your way to upset people, but found it to be fine. Make a video, no problem. But then I see some of the replies on here of people calling you out, and its just childish replies. Just try to take this as constructive criticism, I'm not going to stop watching useful videos for a stupid reason but I think you just missed the mark a little and I want to give you insight as to why it felt that way for me personally.
Yours is one of the few that I actually consider valid criticism. I was fully aware, before even recording, that this video wouldn't be liked by everyone. But the amount of, quite frankly, utterly dumb comments was still mind boggling. Some of the things I was criticized for, required to understand the context, which a lot of people apparently completely missed. Like I said, most of the comments were far from constructive and the mental gymnastics some people were performing, were worse than the comments I got to see ingame.
I really like your videos I always agree with you on almost everything. But you're not right now. First, each Brawl match has 2 pieces of 1vs1 duel. Later, the winners fight each other. Not only Freeze was able to get reaction from People in match, but also from People who watch him. Both negative(majority) and positive (sure minority here. there are hardly any positive comments) . Most astonishing thing is how passive aggressive people are . *"I think this video showcases saltmine that is brawl BUT something something I hate how you play and bm"*
Honestly lads we should all just agree that, some of the maps weren't made for Brawls or duels at all, maps like the temple area the viking arena, or the one with daubeny is a good example of a good brawl or duel map, the ones with ledges and spikes are.....lazily added in cause they want more map options, because breach and dominion are the most played modes so hence why they prefer to add maps from dominion into brawls and duels, which was.... a bad idea
Freeze i don't mean to be rude, but if you just spam crashing charge as warlord while ganking someone, then emotespam them, then type EZ in chat, you're literally just asking for it, anything can be a saltmine if you just play like an asshole.
I mean, at least you just did it from the get go. I just hate when I play brawl and the guy decides on round 3 to jump me outta salt. Like recently I went against a BP and accidentally ledged him on forge. Guy then decides to go straight for me in salt. I guess for losing to a centurion.
Real brawls are no problem.. constantly abusing the warlord charge and not allowing your opponent to play normally is horrible. You're messing with people and making them hate their time, then you're surprised when they get angry and call it salt. I mean would you enjoy it? Good fun for you, bad time for them.
Love your content man really understand your point about toxic community.. but i felt bad for the nobu in the end, they didn't had a chance to fight since they needed to deal with charges and the fact he picked nobu😂, keep up with a great content ❤️
I don’t mind both play styles, but like the first match (my chat is always set to everyone), I’d rather they say they’re doing “real brawls” or w/e term you wanna use. I prefer brawls over duel, because it allows me to fight two opponents (in comparison to duels) with out having to re queue for 10 minutes between matches.
This is what I like about console, it's more effort to message people so the most salt you'll typically get is them spamming thanks or wow. A mf needs to be REAL salty before they actually leave matchmaking just to message you
You gotta be the dumbess person I've seen in this comment section. I get this comment is a year old and for socieitices sake let's hope you've grown a few more brain cells since then. The vast majority of players play brawls as a 1v1 (you'd know that if you ever tried it). Odds are in any given brawls match your opponents will play 1v1; if you wanna do something different then you specify. Freeze is hearing your comment cause half the comment section is pointing out how low of a moment this video was for him.
The thing is with 4v4s people expect ro get ganked so even salty duel mains like myself kind of just grind our teeth and deal with it a lot better than people who go into brawl and expect a double duel and cry when they get a brawl.
I feel like u were asking for salt with long executions when u already won and typing ez in the chat. Also I know its brawls so it should be real 2v2 but it can't hurt typing it in chat. U know some people don't play that way so of course their gonna get angry when without warning they get heavy in the back.
Playin real brawl is okay. Emote spam+disrespect knowin the opponents are already salty is another thing. You can play like you want its true. But at what cost
Freeze is proving a point here. You only need to see outside of the box to get it. He plays with the most struggling characters for ganks he abuses a character attack and the hitstun. This is a calling for "this game needs to be reworked."
That first conq dude complained about not telling him about doing real brawls even though he was on team chat and could not see all chat and then of course bitches about normal shit that salty people would complain about
There's finding salt, then there is going out of your way to mine it. This was the latter. Crashing Charge into a wall for a free heavy is one thing. Repeatedly unlocking and trying to shove off ledges is another.
This is why I'd like an actual chat on console as well even though it'd take forever, since you have to send someone a private message many people don't bother with it
They tend to want separate 1v1s until they start losing, then it's "real 2v2s git gud its brawls". They should just make a mode called "Chain duels" or something where you're sectioned off, and then after someone dies, a gate drops that allows you to access the next player. And you can have 2 or 4 people in a single team depending if health replacement happens after a successful duel. It creates a form of dynamic element to duels that way and it tones down the issue people have in brawls and other modes. Just give it a decent reward system to give incentive and boom.
To this problem currently in brawls, i say this: remember when elimination became a toxic cesspool because assassins would run to gank at the start (this was around before even shinobi released), so the whole mode died? Thats what is wrong with brawl right now too, at least in that mode you got some sort of indication of it happening if you were pkaying as a team, but this is on a condensed map in brawl so its almost instant
I am fine with both playstyles. The thing that annoys me is when they start losing they start 2v1 even though all the rounds played before were 1v1s.
Truth
I also am ok with it. Lol no one is trully "honorable"
Right you set the the type of game at the start. Dont swap when we get to the end.
I agree
That was honestly my least favorite part too. I think brawl shouldn't have ledges the same way duel shouldnt
Glad I wasn’t the only one thinking this
roll and move away from the ledge
You can’t dodge or side roll when your blockstunned
@@FirstnameLastname-to9kw Unless whoever you're fighting is using CGB to set up the Crashing/Stampede/Impaling Charge, in which case your roll will get caught, because Ubisoft gutted disengagement tools instead of fixing the root of the issue surrounding rolling away.

I never said it was wrong to play like that.
What I said is if you do choose to play like that, don't act surprised when you get a strong / salty reaction from the other players
Not his fault that this seems to be an optimal play
Sir Random that’s why this game will never grow passed mediocracy, because the most optimal way of playing is also the most toxic rage inducing way possible and that’s a shame because I love the game and it’s so sad that the devs can’t find a way to handle all this bs
ya pretty much the most toxic way to play this game
I’d be irritated too if an annoying warlord simply did nothing but crashing charge me while his teammate immobilized me. No offense freeze, I like your videos but this is just bad form. It’s in the game but that doesn’t mean it isn’t frustrating for multiple reasons.
i dont get your point, unless it was stated to be 2 1v1's than you shouldn't be annoyed about it, since a warlord spamming crashing charge in a gank on dominion has most likely happened to you anyways, so whats the difference in brawl
U speak for me ..i agree with you..
@DarkWinterWendigo so leave the game if they're not doing 2 1v1's
@@KKris-h There is no difference, having a warlord spam crashing charge and out of lock is annoying in both modes.
I agree, but how you fix this on console ? Or if the ppl has their chat off? You always need to be prepared for the real 2's
Also, brawls allows you to fight 2 different people to test your skill against with out having to requeue between opponents (in comparison to duels).
I think this hits the nail on the head here. If you go into a brawl match expecting two 1v1's there is nothing wrong with that, but if you don't have the right character picks you are going to get demolished no matter how good you are. There are some characters that are just simply way better in gank situations, and some that are better in duels.
this is the thread
Nothing against your playstyle but Warlord/LB/Raider tactics are among the things I think are cancerous for the game.
There is no counter play, if the teammate locks you in GB frames, parry frames, or force a dodge, you have no choice but to eat the charge.
In ganks that's just what it boils down to, having that one player waiting in the sidelines waiting for you to be helpless to counter.
The fact that there is no actual counter play is the issue.
these moves should be deleted
Or give them to everyone... aright I'll throw myself out the window now
The counterplay is turning the fight to a 2v1 before it becomes a 1v2
There is counterplay, you don’t get block stunned, you stop the block stunner. For raider and warlord you can get as close as possible to the charger and he can’t charge. As for impale you have less counterplay, if you roll to beat the incoming GB you get impale, if you attack the GBer you can get impaled, you can roll early and hope it throws the LB off is about it.
And there’s a lot other moves like this, this is actually what the majority of 4v4 competitive depth is based on and why it’s so disappointing to see many of you dismiss competitive 4s
For honor sux
Freeze you dont see anything wrong with ledging that nobushi 3 times? that seems like it would give reason for salt :/
Because there is nothing wrong with ledging Nobushi 3 times

@Lou Fay yeah, you should be aware of yoru surroundings and somehow always be fighting away from an edge despite numerous ways you could end up there.
I totally agree with Vefin. There is no point of doing a match against people that constantly try to ledge you. No-one improves there skills or learn anything, and in my opinion For Honor should be all about that. Sorry man, I think this time you are totally in the wrong.

It's rough to not sympathize with both positions
originally brawls were designed to allow for both methods of fighting and so non of them are inherently bad , and there is a case to be made for real brawls , after all , the game even suggests real brawls as one way to play the mode .
yet a lot of players seem to enjoy the fact they can trust the enemy not to jump on them like dominion , and kinda draw pleasure from this sensation of trust . and this have happened a lot that many have taken it for granted that brawls should always be honorable .
it gets complected when someone expects an honorable brawl * cause that's how many players play the mode * and chooses something like nuxia for fun and ends up against a team of two who choose heroes like BP and JJ and are looking for real brawl
he would be at an extreme disadvantage , which would force him to not play brawl as often or play it without choosing the hero he prefers .
so i wouldn't be keen to simplifying honorable brawls as stupid and how it's not how brawls should be played , both are valid . and we should understand both positions
Or you could do duels

At that point, y play brawl? Just play duel.
@@umbra807 well that's true, but consecutive duels can be a bit repetitive for players. Also orders.

Haven't played in a while but that warlord shield charge seems way to safe or is there a catch except for higher stam drain?
The 2v1 makes it so good. When you block an attack, you get stuck in block stun and can't dodge. The charge has iirc a 500ms startup, so even my grandma should be able to react to it in a 1v1.
@@xDragonce thanks for clarifying that. Explains it pretty good.
IMO real brawls are fine as long as you don't spam emote and be toxic in chat acting like you just beat that person in a 1v1 when you didn't.
There is so much unfair mechanisms in this game that it’s hard to take it seriously. For exemple, in brawl if you and your buddy are still alive but there is only 1 opponent remaining, you can just run around the map and win when the time runs out.
I’ve never had that happen
El Krumb that’s because you never fought me and my friend 😏
on console there’s either very very little salt, or people don’t want to go through the process of messaging people because of how long it takes.

You can’t call people salty after tanking them in brawls. Most people fight the person they are opposite and then fight the next guy if their teammate dies. If anything your the ones being toxic.

Real 2's is one thing on maps like The Ring, but going out of your way to break combat and "gank" when the enemy is trying to fight you in the first area always rubs me the wrong way.
... What AI are you fighting against friendo? In my experience lv2 and lv3 bots absolutely fucking *gun it* to the other person for a gank.
@@AcitoriaVakarianIdunno i know they gank, but they do not attempt to fight both people at once as is usual with a 2v2. thats what i meant by "fighting one person". either 1v1 or 2v1.

Whats the Blade his Warlord was using?
I'm in such a minority but the chaos and unpredictability of brawl is what I really always liked about it. Will this guy let me execute? Am I gonna let this guy execute? I get the 1v1 is rewarding but the 2v2/1 feel so heavy and leathal. I like it when the strats switched up round to round really keeps the mode fresher for longer
Can you make a video addressing the difference between Console and pc and why it needs fixed? Or have you already
there's been a couple. one of them particularly was about consoles issues, and the "how to improve" something or other was about settings changes and stuff
I think this video is a failed experiment. You're trying to expose people being salty by writing "ez" in the chat? You're better off just providing data about the game than actually playing.
Ah yes, saying ez to someone that is already tilting totally invalidates everything else that was shown.
Not at all, but acting like that only encourages more of toxic behavior.
You are right. His playstyle is not spectacular and coments are boring in gameplay videos.. he should keep going on regular bug or data vids

Freeze why can I never land a heavy finisher as JJ? They seem to always get parried, and if it feint it they never fall for it even if i delay it

@DarkWinterWendigo For playing brawls how it was meant to be fucking played?
I think you misunderstood what I meant. It's not about how to play certain game modes. It's about the fact that his content changed big time and I'm not a big fan of his "new" content. But, that's only me and nothing more, no hate :)
People who get angry when you brawl really ought to learn how to start a duel match
no one plays duels its always on low activity. if I'm with a friend I want to see what he's doing and it seems plenty of people feel the same way. Only after several brawl matches with entirely new players will I ever encounter someone not treating it as a 1v1; if most people are doing it that way then its a slimy tactic to do it the other way and catch em by surprise. solo queue brawls can also just be more fun because the action doesn't end right after you kill your opponent, assuming your teammate dies.
i fucking relish the salt on this playlist, god it is so good.

I thought it would take a few rounds but these guys just got right into it.
"I was curious if it REALLY is such a salt mine as people claim" - from your intro
It is.
I have been playing since October 2019 and every match goes that way. If 98 out of 100 people play this way then maybe you should adapt. I think so. (I'm playing on European servers)
The game mode says "2v2", tournaments are played as real 2's and the game isn't preventing you from ganking. Stop being a fucking baby and stop expecting EVERYONE to play the exact same fucking way.

Honestly lads we should all just agree that, some of the maps weren't made for Brawls or duels at all, maps like the temple area the viking arena, or the one with daubeny is a good example of a good brawl or duel map, the ones with ledges and spikes are.....lazily added in cause they want more map options, because breach and dominion are the most played modes so hence why they prefer to add maps from dominion into brawls and duels, which was.... a bad idea

This is how Skyrim was meant to be played
For me personally for some reason, everyday encounters like jorm or bp are like 1000 times more frustrating in brawl or 1v1 than anywhere else
I sorta get the ones that ask for a warning since theres a community for both 2v2 and paired 1v1s
Most of them still are brainlets though
I don’t mind both play styles, but like the first match (my chat is always set to everyone), I’d rather they say they’re doing “real brawls” or w/e term you wanna use. I prefer brawls over duel, because it allows me to fight two opponents (in comparison to duels) with out having to re queue for 10 minutes between matches.
to be fair you SHOULDVE gave them a warning otherwise freeze looks like youre being toxic
This is what I like about console, it's more effort to message people so the most salt you'll typically get is them spamming thanks or wow. A mf needs to be REAL salty before they actually leave matchmaking just to message you
Which only makes it better when you actually get messages
people get mad when you don't tell them you're doing real brawl but they won't tell you that they want 1v1s.
*Ironic*
You gotta be the dumbess person I've seen in this comment section. I get this comment is a year old and for socieitices sake let's hope you've grown a few more brain cells since then.
The vast majority of players play brawls as a 1v1 (you'd know that if you ever tried it). Odds are in any given brawls match your opponents will play 1v1; if you wanna do something different then you specify. Freeze is hearing your comment cause half the comment section is pointing out how low of a moment this video was for him.
And I thought dominion and breach was where the salt was at.
And now you know where true profit is located brother. Onwards
