Just admiring the microphone technique here. Lauv moves away when he moves to backing vocals, seems to vary his closeness to the mic as well depending on intensity of the part of the song. Crazy proximity effect on these mics too. When they get up close a whole new level of detail comes out. They've got great brightness out of what is known to be quite a flat mic as well. Would love to know their whole signal chain. You see this microphone everywhere these days, but rarely used this well.
