I would be really interested about all the micro plastic pieces and bits, you find under the microscope.
Is it difficult to know wether something is a plastic or not?
Because it's gotten such a big problem on our planet and you shurely must be finding evidence for it everywhere!?
Lots of love for sience.
I would also love to see what the fungus looks like and does, how it lives, that scientist foud to be eating radioactive waves.
Because it could be a solution to our radioactive waste problem, right?
Maybe you could make some content out of that.
Yo fellow science dudes, I've been seeing a lot of hype about artificial single cells lately... I don't dig it, but I'm entirely interested in seeing footage of it. Especially since the way it reproduces, is taking in parts of other cells outside of it and making a daughter cell outside of it. It sounds terrible, but it's logical.
New sub here! Could you do an equipment review?
As someone who is learning English by watching RUclips, I was a bit horrified when I saw the title “Adventure of Being Eaten” on my RUclips feed. But it turned out that this was a brilliant video. I’m glad that I have found this channel. Thank you, from Japan 😊
As someone who grew up speaking English, I was a bit horrified by the title at first, too. Lol I'm really happy it turned out to be this amazing channel and not some weird sex thing or something scarier.
Respect of learning a new language
Your grammar is perfect:) love from Norway
How can i learn a language via only youtube?
That would be horrifying😂
This channel can be calming and metal at the same time.
Just like Hank
Exactly
@@bloodandempire Hank Crimson
where is the metal? show me.
r/natureisfuckingmetal
Start there.
So, the omnivore cell "Proboscis" mouth from Spore was actually a tardigrade mouth all this time !
Great video, as always !
Yup, directly thought of this too
Yeah thats exactly what i had on my mind
spore really did capture the scale of the microcosmos as you got bigger and bigger in the water, classic game
"But not all organisms come equipped with a weapon that lets them turn Rotifers into Capri Suns." That little joke gets me every time 🤣
It sounds like a Ze Frank quote, I audibly giggled
hey can u throw me another rotifer
huh. it actually do fit tho
@@austinbutts3000 Jerry is this channel stealing our sense of humor? Did David tell them about it Jerry?
Thank you Sir, for taking us on this journey 💗
I never binge this channel, it's always a video a day or I watch whatever they release that day. It's too good to absorbed in one day, have to suck the juices out of this channel as slowly as possible. Lol.
I would love a video on the Peranema! That pack hunting sounds fascinating!
~"tardigrade turns rotifers into a caprisun" lmao that is dark
R.I.P little Rotifer, you're in a better place now
Very happy and blessed to be in this channel ! Happy New Year guys ! Thank you for the marvelous wonderful work that you guys do ! Excellent ! 🏆💯✔
Like all this microcosmos stuff, I LOVE this channel and say hello to all the Microcosmos comunity.
This is the best channel to have full screen and resolution set to max
Whenever life gets tough and I'm feeling down, I just think about what life would be like as a rotifer.
And then I feel better. 😊
I too would enjoy living in a world with creatures that can suck my insides out like a capri-sun
@@this_commenter_had_a_stroke weird fantasy
It is very cool that a meal can be such a visual treat for an outside observer, especially when witnessed under differing lighting conditions.
I'm eating some oatmeal, sunny side up, lightly over, eggs with a glass of orange juice.
Thanks for sharing. Happy 2022 to everyone.
I was so confused when you said the video is sponsored by Wren,
because in the UK a company called Wren sells kitchens, and they too use a little wren in their advertising 😂
Quite an impressive set of catches with the microscope & camera, I must say. I love listening to such a calming, soothing voice while watching such... carnage, LOL!
I absolutely love these videos. Thank you so very much for all your hard work!
Microcosmos, scishow, and pbs spacetime have been my oasis through these stressful times.
I would like to see more of these contents. Not many people are studying the parasitology fields. I sent pictures of some of these things that you would not believe. Giants.
Never thought of a rotifer like a capri sun but I guess we all need new things to keep us up at night. Also, that gastrotrich under fluorescent light is beautiful... that was a good send off for the rainbow boi. Do other microorganisms appear like this under UV or fluorescent lighting?
It would be interesting to look at thin sections and microscopy of minerals.
I am loving how the organism in the thumbnail looks like a tongue. It's just 👅.
Beautiful peaceful nature
This channel is helping me through a break up. I don't know why but it's working.
Hahaha turning rotifers into Capri Suns 😆
2:38
lmaoo
oops, i commented the same thing, oh well. but yes, it was hilariously dark
Hey guys, first I want to say Love your guys content and please keep up the good work. I was wondering if you guys might look into what cancer cells look like under the microscope. Last year my mom got breast cancer (she recovered 100%) and wanted to see if you guys might do a video on how cancer cells work or how they look like? Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work!
God Bless Everyone Love One Another
amazing, thanks for sharing these images!
5:20 - death by butt is surely one of the worst of all deaths!
Idk man some people are pretty weird and would disagree
Wow this microscope is amazing! Great images
WOW, what a great video. thank you so much.
Rotifers are essentially the bunnies of the microbe world, ain't they?
This is the best episode so far
Thank you.....that was beautiful and disturbing all at once.
Enjoyed it thoroughly🦠💚🔬
Love this channel ❤️
I love this channel so much! ☺️
You guys should maybe invest in some type(s) of "cues" like arrows/circles and stuff in the editing process, sometimes when talking about 2 or more different things happenong or screen it's hard to tell exactly "what's-what" 🤔 (especially for new people who don't understand the terminology 😭)
I got a microscope for Christmas thanks to watching this show :) thank you guys for piquing an interest I had no idea I had
The things I click on, while eating my lunch.........!
Well that's on me, the title and thumbnail DID warn me hahaha
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Love the channel
Stupid question, but did the tardigrade kill the rotifer? It moved after she was down eating, but I’m not sure if it was alive, dying, or it if was just nerves firing after death.
Dont think it died but was probably close to death
On each level of our sight is another universe.
You're the david attenborough of the MICROWORLD!
Can anyone answer me please. Are these videos fast forwarded or are they shown in normal speeds??
What microscope setup did you use to see this ??
Our friend Diane discovered tardigrades on Roan Mountain while at ETSU.
Dr. Nelson.
Nothing like starting the new year with a bit of vore.
I have a few pets that need to eat live food and sometimes I wonder... "you didn't die doing down... what must it be like in those moments?"
love it
My fellow Canadians: I didn't get the Capri Sun reference. I looked it up. (very funny) Having raised young kids from the 80's onward, I have never heard of this product. Was it never marketed in Canada?
I drank it all the time in the 90s, I'm pretty sure they still exist here. But not as popular as they once were.
This channel is gonna make me act up and get a microscope for myself... (a cheap one, of course...)
very cool...
good stuff
Yes!
Yes!
That's great! Tell me what kind of research technique and microscope, maybe a video has already been released on your microscope and methods of research?
I am wondering , too. Did you find something?
I drink your milkshake! I drink it up! - Tardigrade
I am definitely not taking a knap today after watching this. The female bacteria in the house might eat me.
Nice
wow!
Hank: the Paranama...
My brain: do doo do do doo, manamana doo do do doo
Hi can you tell me what kind of microscope should i buy to get a view like this.
Any chance of filming a Dicopomorpha echmepterygis?
How do these things digest?
One that came from the container full of beach sand looks like a very weird microscopic fish
Cool.
Please anyone but Hank narrating
They fan or slither unseeing through the fluid, feeling organs first like lonely lips seeking other lips in a soothing kiss. Then, suddenly, they have contact. Some other life form has met them in the void, and the big question becomes...
Will you end up eating me, or will I end up eating you?
2:42 Caprisuns LMAOOO
Hey Hank 💜 How you doin Man
So what eats tardigrades?
Poor rotifers. Always getting capri sun'd, chunks torn off, paralyzed, speared, covered in digestrive fluid. engulfed alive, and generally eaten in seemingly unpleasant ways
They appear to be like the bags of potato chips of the microverse.
Thought for the day:
Vore
1:46
That was cobra fast.
Es hermoso
oh boy, the vore episode
So is there a world smaller than this?
Poor rotifers always seem to receive the business end of the food process, don't they
Am I the only one who was hoping the tardigrade was the eater not the eaten
whats a living gastrotric look like?
The rotifers around the tardigrade really reminded me of mice for some reason.
Me too!!!
I swear I saw this title on another kind of video, on another kind of site....
F for the rotifer
Rotifer!!
Tartegrades are gangsta
so cute
The rotifer died?
man rotifers can't catch a break
Give money to offset my carbon emissions? That's humorous!
Love the video as always. F*ck Wren, tho.
I wonder if we are being observed in such a way

Lol I thought u were calling it a porENEMA which is funny considering it seems to go in through the butt and “clean it out”!
Tag: Vore
Ok so the moral of the story is don't be a rotifer
So tardigrades are like Imperfect Cell? Got it!
Well... being eaten alive worked well for the mitochondria, which is...
Can someone ID one of these microorganisms for me? At 4:10, to the right and upper right of the _kentrophyllum,_ there are two small microbes. I'm sure it's impossible to have an exact ID, but if anyone can give me any taxonomy on it, that would be awesome!
