- Every year my Father and I go deep sea fishing. With so much positive feedback from our sunset cruise video I figured I would film our fishing trip!
On this adventure we got up at 6:30am to jump on the 8am fishing trip from the Starlight fleet in Wildwood Crest.
We caught many different kinds of fish including my favorite, the croaker fish. (and yes they make that sound!)

I remember going out on the Royal Flush and that there was Kurtz's Resturant right there.
I been on that boat lots of times it's my favorite thing to do everytime I go down there
These waters used to be so plentiful! The fish resembled bait more than a decent catch but spending meaningful time with your dad is priceless!
Your dad definitely needs to be in the videos more often.

so much ocean & so few fish. Thats a sad statement for our waters. We used to cruise with Sightseer every year. Sorry to hear that shes headed for Lake Michigan. I wouldnt have thought the old girl had that much life left in her. Nice to see & feel current happenings at the shore.
I really liked the video! It looked like a really nice ride out to the ocean. It’s nice that you spend time with your dad because I lost mine last year and really miss him! Enjoys those times you spend with your dad!
Thanks for the video Joey. I went out fishing on that same day and saw a whale right off the coast of cape May around 9ish it was super cool!

My husband has done Starlight several times. He got a flying fish at Grassy Sounds last week
One of your best vlogs. Great music, and editing. A few questions: how long was the excursion, the cost, whether you must throw back if fish is a certain type of size, and finally will the crew clean the fish if you decide to take it back? And since I was born and raised in NYC your dad's speech pattern and demeanor seems he was or is from Brooklyn or South Philadelphia. No?
I've done starlight And you might not believe me but I have a caught a nice Sized Sand tiger Shark was about 150 Lbs and 6 foot! With that tiny hook!!
The fishing has been really bad since the dredging started

Boats in the Crest are nothing but money boats. they could care less if you caught anything. A Total waste of money. A Total Joke. A 4 hr. Boat is a Joke.
Its really fun tho I've caught a big shark on this trip and I only fished for 2.5 hours
Wow. I caught 20 fish over Labor Day in the Chesapeake, including a cow nose ray that could have eaten all your fish combined. So, Sad.
