7:58 Penn's dialogue here implies that he was being informed by the little songbirds you scare off when approaching him. This also implies that the Rito can converse with actual animal birds. While whimsical in nature and generally delightful, this does have the side-effect of implying every bird in Hyrule has some degree of sentience.
Quin, funny weapon fuse combo: Fuse an ice horn with a feathered blade or spear. This freezes the enemy and creates a gust of wind at the same time, so they slide really far.
I love how Quin is just refusing to spend his lights of blessing even though everyone wants him too, and he's just defying society and the status quo. He's awesome
I absolutely loved this quest. Rito village was the first village I went to and I was basically was doing this side quest throughout the whole game as a sort of second main quest and it's just so fun all of these cute little interactions. It also tells you a tiny bit about what Zelda did between BotW and TotK wich is nice. Love Penn
For sure. I think most people did the quest like this, since the game leads you to the Rito quest first, and you naturally go to stables alone the way. Quin did this game in the most roundabout way, I swear. Hasn’t he not visited any of the Great Fairies yet? Quin, you’re an interesting guy, lol. 😂
Not sure if you noticed but when you first approach Penn at a stable he has a load of sparrows all around him while he's taking notes! When his says his "little birds" told him something, he really means it!
Quin I PROMISE if you made episodes longer we would watch. I deadass would listen to you play totk uncut. I listen to your episodes at work so they help me get through the day 😂
these quests were so fun to do at the beginning of the game along with the main quests, it was so cool figuring out the mystery of zelda and seeing how hyrule had changed from botw! p.s. give the dondons some luminous stones!
Quin is just him when it comes to these Tears of the Kingdom videos, I love each and every single one of them they make me smile. Small man and Quinn duo is unbeatable ❤
I thought this quest had to be completed to get to Rito village as first. I was so pissed 😂 got halfway through until I realized you could fly right into rito
Been looking forward to Quin doing the potential process sitings side quest! I really enjoyed. I know it’s a smaller side quest but I really loved the paintings for the stables quest. Given Quin’s love of photography I’m hoping we get to see him go through it.
Ok so i went to a Zelda concert the other day, and it was amazing. 10/10 they played the totk theme and a lot of ocarina of time songs. You could tell it was full of Zelda nerds. Would recommend
I’ve been binging so much of your Zelda content, and I really love it! It’s perfect to listen to and watch while I work from home. I can’t articulate exactly in what way, but I really love how you commentate and edit, you’re very entertaining to watch and funny. Keep up the great content and the Sidon simping and Squimblo hunting!
*-In this episode of Tears of the Kingdom…-* *LUCKY CLOVER GAZETTE: SHOOT THE BREEZE AT NO ADDED FEES!* Up-and-coming reporters Penn & Quin are out across Hyrule collecting news just for you! Wondering where our darling Zelda went off to? Itching for a scrawling scoop? They’re on the case! Tune in with each installment to catch this duo in action. *On the scene of Tabantha Bridge Stable,* a white herd seems to have gone a little wild for a corked bottle. Once our reporters came onto the scene, Chork-the local stablehand-testified that his herd had all but vanished in the night after one too many faulty food preparations. Using his innate understanding of goat mannerisms, QuinBoBin tracked their trail only to find the tribe huddled around a message written by the princess herself! She advises all of us to take care to break up our cattle’s food, ‘lest our beloved animal friends choke or croak on their daily chow. But was this revelation from the Princess truly as old as it seems?! Convenient that such a story only comes up once things go awry… *An incredible development at Snowfield Stable* seems to prove Ms. Purah, the Sheikah left in charge of Hyrule’s command, right regarding her “Impostor Zelda” Theory! As by the testimony of stablehand Harlow, the typically gentle golden horse, egg, began bucking something wild at the sight of its supposed “owner!” Not only did the horse make a daring escape to the harsh frontier of Hebra’s desolate plains, it made a mad dash past a frighteningly fickle Frost Gleeok-known in the area for being particularly protective of its territory, no less. Out of character for a pampered pony with braids in its hair, we assume. But if this is true, where’s Princess Zelda? *A rumor spread by New Serenne Stable* has been debunked by the investigative journalism of the Lucky Clover Gazette. A nearby stable in Faron was recently given a charter from the Royal Bloodline of Hylia for an animal sanctuary. The reason? The thought-to-be-extinct ancient dondons seem to have a surviving decendant, so researchers say! Despite their mean appearance, the creatures are truly docile. New Serenne Stable has decided to release an apology for this slander, to be printed in the next edition of the Lucky Clover Gazette. *_There’s a woman trapped in a well at Highland Stable_*_ and we can’t figure out how to get her out. Please. Sagessa has been singing for weeks down there and refuses to come out. And her singing voice is horrifying!_ ~Penn. *Reporters at Gerudo Highland Stable* have discovered the sealed well to shut down the stable’s business has been suffering with a monster infestation for the foreseeable past months. Having known about this, Zelda ordered the well sealed and planned to have her knight slay the beasts soon after the stable was secured. This story is one of yet another disturbing discoveries that lead us to believe Zelda’s disappearance is one of sinister origin. The well was purified by QuinBoBin instead, who happens to be proficient in monster eradication. When asked if he planned to join the Monster Control Crew at Lookout Landing, he declined to comment. *Careful on the roads of Necluda* this week as reports come in of Yiga activity in the area. Nell, a man nearly lured into one of the dark clan’s traps, says the Ganon worshippers have “gone too far” in their attempts to prey on the royal family and their subjects. “I couldn’t even catch up,” he says, recounting his experience. “Granted, I am quite out of shape as of late.” *-Catch us in the next edition of the LUCKY CLOVER GAZETTE!!!-* *Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today.*
Just so you know there is another quest in Hateno. It was unlocked after they mayoral election. It starts at one of the farm lands. Right past Cece’s shop.
Fun fact: Zelda has a picture of the golden horse in her house. And Dondon’s eat luminous stone (then leave other gems on the ground) and they glow in the dark.
Now I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I definitely will. I just thought I'd have to mention, I know Quin cannot do long division, but during my English class today a kid was doing long division and just know, It made me think of you Quin.

Quin don’t listen to the people telling you you can’t do this quest because I’m here to tell you you peli-can
That joke is a disgrace to pelican kind
@@Beigepelicanmy entire existence is a disgrace to pelican kind
Haha. Nice
@@Beigepelicanthe PeliKind?
Pelican get it 😂 peli-can as in can
Penn just confirmed Rito can talk to normal birds. I don’t know how to feel about that. Can the Zora understand fish? Don’t they eat fish?
A lot of the Zora look similar to sharks to me so that makes sense
@@buttercuplexFish people❌️ Shark People✔️
don't the rito eat poultry...

While whimsical in nature and generally delightful, this does have the side-effect of implying every bird in Hyrule has some degree of sentience.
I mean they already kill and eat sentient animals like bokoblins, who can express emotions and do other things a regular hylian can do
Birds are pretty smart
2:55 What Quin doesn't know is that this is _exactly_ what we say about him when he isn't around.
i know once Quin finishes these quests he’s never gonna wanna take the frog armor off. it’s way too good
I agree, especially after he gets a great fairy to bless it to level two.
I like how you can hear quinn spinning cuz his voice gets lower then back to normal😭
I would never
Quin yelling at Link to close his mouth is such a mood 🤣
Quin, funny weapon fuse combo: Fuse an ice horn with a feathered blade or spear. This freezes the enemy and creates a gust of wind at the same time, so they slide really far.

Don’t need them!
@QuinBoBin
But goblins love collecting shiny things, and what's shinier than a Heart Container?
You need to go to Washa’s Bluff after the quest ends and talk to Penn on top of the mushroom tree where Kass had his little hut.
Okok thanks! I will try and remember
Where was his little hut???? I never found it???
@@HawksTakami1228 Washa’s Bluff, northwest of Satori Mountain. It’s the blood moon shrine quest. The hut is on top of one of the big mushroom trees.

This is the closest thing you can get to hanging out with a giant bird while doing a bunch of quests with him. That is until we find Kass.

I read the notification as “I made this weird bird…” and thought it would be a devious ultrahand build.
Loved the Froggy armour quests though :)
The way I screamed when I saw Quin next to Penn.
I love Penn so much, his sidequest legit made me cry.
"My goggles are prescription" 😅😅 I'm wheezing. And when Link got slammed into the ground by the gold horse 🤣🤣
Penn matches Quin's personality so well and you can't convince me otherwise
The same disease that made Link only talk in grunts caused the Rito to speak in puns

i can’t wait to see your reaction to my favourite one of these stable/penn quests. it was so funny to me i can only imagine what you’re going to think
This has to be the best and most wholesome quest in the entire game. It was my fav quest out of Botw and ToTK

Yesssssss. He IS the best birdy. Loved this quest. Mostly because now I don't care if it rains! X
He went the entire game up till now and only JUST NOW got a like like stone?!
Checks out.
I highly recommend the stable painting quest after you've done this one, it's right up your alley and I think you'd love it!
That one does sound really fun

Penn: Feral Hylian! Are you in need of a job?
