I had a dream where Quin fought a lynel, died a load of times, and then after beating the lynel, couldn’t solve a side quest puzzle and was getting extremely frustrated, until he read the quest description which told him exactly where to go.
He then began to scream.

Quin being constantly low on health,arrows,weapons and food but still making it work is kinda impressive
I admire Quin’s refusal to use anything that would help him.

We need a counter of how many times he asks the sages for help without using their ability
Listening to Quin gush about Korok forest, knowing the state he’s gonna find it in is heartbreaking.

Hey Quin, you know the thing you did with your Shield and the Octorock Balloon?
Well you can do the same thing if you fuse a Rocket to your Shield. It takes you WAY higher and faster than the Octorock Balloons. It’s basically like Revali’s Gale from Botw

Quin has completed all three of the story quests that matter to him, fully opening up his schedule for shenanigans. The first shenanigan of the day is to figure out what the strange goblin sliding in from the sides of the screen is trying to say to us. The next shenanigan is to get lost in a maze.
Quin makes a quick pit stop into Hell to meet some *[REDACTED]* _[silly & adorable]_ monster hands. He’s *[REDACTED]* laughing so hysterically because they’re *[REDACTED]* _[tickling him]_ & *[REDACTED]* _[making funny noises]._ How cute. :3
Deciding he’s had enough of _that,_ our hero carefully climbs a mountain for no reason at all & remembers that quaint little community of forest fae. Last we checked, said forest the fae reside was overseen by darkness alone, and it remains that way even as Quin tries to walk the familiar past through the Lost Woods. No people are safe from the influence of the Demon Tribe, not even a race as pure as the children of the forest, and it is this dark truth that sends Quin into another laughing fit. They look so _silly,_ petrified like that.
Playing doctor, our cherished local fool is swallowed by the ill father tree and… finds the Phantom again. It must be karma, because the Phantom Ganon that spawns from the Deku Tree’s naval is far more powerful than the one he fought in the labyrinth. All is saved in the end, of course, and Quin never even has to confess to laughing at the bodies he found; the Hero of Hyrule merely sits down for a storytime with Father, *concluding our (mis)adventures for today!*

10:51 your zonite bow can actually be amazing depending on how you utitilize it! The longer you hold it down, the farther and straighter it will go. I find it extremely versatile

I have two tips for you Quinn and anyone else
1. Fire and electricity work best against gloom hands as they stun for longer
2. just before a construct attacks their eye will light up this is when you should dodge to always get a flurry rush
quin heres a tip you might like! muddlebuds are great for when you are fighting multiple enemies at a time. it makes them prioritize fighting each other instead of you! i like using them at monster camps or on a battle talus. also, there's a zonai device called the cooking pot which is good if you need to cook for effects in an emergency! hope this helps :) love the vid, you are my fav zelda youtuber!

Quin, please, there's 1 piece of armor you are gonna LOVE!!! To get it, go back to the guys you met at the cave with the 1000 chests (where you got the fierce deity sword). They share 3 more Misko riddles with you! ONE is at a place you where before, knew there was a puzzle but you didn't know what it was. Trust me! You're gonna love it to bits!!!
So good to see the hands get slapped back. Quin, my biggest tip is to fuse the gloom weapons to your normal weapons. You can get the power of their hits without having them eat your hearts

the first time I descend inside the Deku Tree's stomach really terrifies me, because I know it's not a happy place with all the gloom and a high tiny platform indicating a boss fight
I took the bad decision of putting this on on my second monitor at the office with my headphones on, and I'm trying so hard not to laugh out loud while working xD Loving your videos, you sound like you're having so much fun
The best way that I have found to fight the hands: stun them with Dazzlefruit and then launch Topaz right in the middle of them! Loving this series so far!
I'm finally at the end game section so I binged the series over the weekend and I'm here early for the first time in forever! It's so nice to be able to watch right when they come out!
The way Quin finds a way to furry rush every enemy he finds amazes me
I lost it at you picking up the roasted bird and being concerned about tulin
A few things:
1. All of your episodes are great and funny, but this one nearly made me spit out my cheerios (literally)
2. Re: Gloom hands - I hate them. But I've found that shooting a topaz or two into the center of them knocks them out pretty easily
3. Re: gloom weapons - two neat things you can do with them.
- Fuse them to another weapon to avoid gloom damage. This usually isn't a good practice because you don't get the durability benefits, but they do add a ton to a weapons attack.
- Fuse a light dragon part to them (horns work really well, but anything is good). Those heal you 1/4 heart per hit. From my experience you lose a heart on the first hit and then gain the same heart back over the next 4 (without losing another one). That might just be in the overworld, but I think it works nicely :)
Whoever decided to make the bokoblin mask animation when idle deserves a raise, never gets old!

Quin if you fuse frozen meat, a cart, or a mine cart to your shield, you can have much better shield surfing

Quin! Go to the cave you got the fierce deity from and speak with the persons outside of it! It will 100% be worth it!
one good way to “defeat” them is going up a platorm where they cant reach u, they eventually just vanish and leave dark clumps. they really struggle with 90 degree angles so they cant go up walls.
The fact that you need to go inside the Deku Tree to defeat a evil plaguing him is a reference to Ocarina of Time. That plus Phantom Ganon was the boss of the forest temple in OoT
Love that call back so much. I was concentrating so hard that I forgot about it. I'm also not much of a screamer at games unless I'm hit in a blindspot.

Ok here’s the easiest way to kill gloomhands fast: wear your + attack damage armor, fuse rockets to all of your shields, when they show up use the rocket/shield to lift yourself up. Use the slow mo shooting down thing to shoot: ice arrows and then bombs. As many as you can. Make sure you have a banana meal. 5 bananas cooked together will give you extra attack damage for 10min. And the phantom
is the easiest part. You can use gloom resistance meals for him or continue using the rocket shield strategy. They freeze really well! So use freeze fruits or freeze chuchus

Giving you a tip for yiga sidequest: go back to akkala tech lab and search for a map, once you have found them visit ALL of them.

Quin! You finally did The Hands and Phantom Ganon go you! As for those gloom weapons I watched somebody test if they would take all your hearts if you use it enough and it won't completely kill you when you use it... just almost lol but the stronger you are and more hearts you have the stronger that Demon King's bow gets it's pretty cool!

tip for beating up gloom hands: if you shoot a ruby or like a shard of a dragon part with a 3 shot bow at the gloom hands it 1 shots them

The little goron in Tarry Town can separate that iron ball from your Shield, letting you smuggle it out into the real world.
This works for many things you find in Shrines.

Tip for the Gloom Hands. Fight from a height, and spam Riju and Yunobo's sage powers. Also doing a headshot on ghost Ganon will dispel the Gloom pool under him
But yes...they are terrifying to find all of a sudden
Heads up on big batteries: Those big batteries cost about 100 zonaite apiece to summon from zonaite, and no dispenser gives them out. They're pretty tough to come by, whereas if you consume a large zonai charge, you get a fairly long battery overcharge that you can extend by taking more zonai charges. This literally doesn't matter, because of what I just said, but if later you wanna build something very energy-consuming you **may** want big batteries for the build itself. Shrug, if you have the large charges and don't mind using them like candy, that also works. It's all good. Someone's definitely going to go wah wah wah about the big batteries being used, but all this logic means you can easily ignore it.
Also: Very late game you can get more for 90 zonaite at a shop, so they can be replenished.
Quin there is the yiga clan hideout and if you find all of the yiga outfit you can go in there without being harmed and they sell stuff to you and if you complete a challenge you can get the thunder helm and they teach you how to do the thing that the big yiga do when the ground explodes
quin seeing what happens when he defeated the hands was the highlight of this episode xD
And I totally agree with you there, korok forest is very cosy! It's isolated from the rest of the world and it's this huge peaceful forest (mostly)
I was having a horrible day but seeing my favorite small man run around made it so much better:)

you can fuse stuff to the gloom weapons too making them even stronger, their base power is insane it makes the gloom damage worth it
If you fuse the gloom weapons to other weapons, you get the power boost and it negates the gloom damage.
