We visited Bath a couple of years ago and it’s absolutely a beautiful stunning city. We just loved it there & Sally Lunn’s, omg we loved it in there and also took buns back. Definitely on our to visit back list.
I just came across your channel today and I’m watching your adventures in Bath and wanted to say how much I am enjoying it. You guys are lovely 🥰 I love getting to explore these beautiful places that I have never seen before. Watching from Marcellus, New York USA 🇺🇸
We still havent been into the roman baths or had a Sally Lunns bun and we live here haha. Who knew there was a magic cure for everything in the warm water. fun fact Pulteney Bridge is featured in Les Miserable I dont think we take advantage of living so close to bath because of all the tourists haha. xx
That was wonderful 😍 you two are just so good at doing “what you do” and making it fun and interesting to view. I went to Bath in 1981?? Can’t remember 🙁 but it didn’t cost £20+++ to enter the Roman bath site! I can still recall that “odour” - bad eggs and god knows what else! But seeing that “ancient” history was just incredible! The Romans were so bloody clever at everything, weren’t they?! What surprised me most though was, you didn’t venture into the Pump Room to sit yourself down close the stage where a string trio or a pianist would be playing soothing music, on a table that had a freshly laundered table cloth with silver cutlery service and order your good selves an Afternoon Tea of finger sandwiches, petit titbits, scones and fancy cakes whilst drinking fine tea out of a bone China cup ……?? But that Sally Lunn meal looked delicious! Well done and lots of love xxx
Thanks and as always really appreciate your comment. It is expensive but that’s to be expected with such a famous tourist attraction and at least it helps preserve it for others to enjoy. We did see the pump room on our way out but no we didn’t go in, too excited for Sally Lunn’s 😂
Glad you loved Bath, If you ever head back to our wonderful City, head out the back of the station and cross the road and you will see "Deep Lock" the 2nd deepest lock in the Country, Also, highly, highly recommend doing the Abby rooftop tour, stunning views if you don't mind the 212 steps up to the top. Loving your videos guys.
Got to love Bath, got to be up there as the most beautiful cities in the country. I had a Sally Lunn cream tea last time I went there, know how you boys love a cream tea 😉 Thanks for the vid
Love this video, and you guys are adorable and funny! My mum and I were in Bath many moons ago, and the tour guide at the baths said that the Roman men used to get into the water wearing their big heavy robes and all their clothes, without taking anything off. Eeuuuwww !!! 😮
This is the only part of the UK I havent visited and I am totally planning on it now! Bath is not too far from Newquay and Torquay right? Ive heard theyre surfing towns😍
South West England is such a beautiful part of the UK - if driving Bath is about 2 hours from Torquay, a bit further for Newquay but yes Newquay is the surf capital of the U.K. - we are yet to visit there though!
The upkeep of the baths is enormous, and like every other council, BaNES is totally skint. The price is high, but it's always packed and so there's enough folk willing to pay it - and it's needed. Residents get in for free at any time (along with other places), he said, smugly.
Sites outside London or Wales haven't received government subsidies since covid, its sad but that cost has been passed onto the consumer. SS Great Britain down the road for example have also put their prices up in recent years.
Bath looks lovely. I have never quite got around to visiting as it's a fair way from where I live in Yorkshire and when I have been close to it, I have been doing other stuff. I need to get my act together and go. Mind you, £2.50 to enter a basic city park?!?!? HOW MUCH? The robbing b*stards. Lovely viseo as usual. Thank you lads.
😂 yeah that park is a bit cheeky but luckily there is plenty of green spaces to explore for free. You should definitely get there some day, it’s definitely a unique city.
Parade Gardens has always been for the residents of Bath (who get in free). It was originally a green space for those living in central Georgian houses, many of which had little or no outside space. It still serves the same purpose. There's plenty of free green space in Bath including the large and glorious Victoria Park.

Lovely to see the city through a visitor’s eyes! I love living here. Personally, the view is better at Alexandra Park (free)!
Thanks for the tip 👍🏻
Bath is a beautiful city to visit! The Christmas market is great to visit 😊
It’s incredible. We enjoyed the Christmas market last year although we visited on opening Saturday and it was chaotic. Won’t make that mistake again 😂

Agreed! Ooo a Sally Lunn cream tea sounds amazing 🤩 😍
Great video as always! By the way 18:23 that's a Grey Wagtail! I would definitely get behind a rename to Grey Twerktail though 😂
Thanks for the info. Do we need to start a hashtag campaign? 🤔 #GreyTwerktail 😂
Love this video, and you guys are adorable and funny!

Thanks for watching! We guess getting in the bath fully clothes saves having to wash yourself and your clothes separately 😂 but yeah a bit gross!
Any chance you can do a video of Rochester sometime lads. Thanks
We do have an old one on the channel but we will certainly get back there at some point 😊
@@JJExtra thanks🩷
I’ve always wanted to visit Bath, not sure about that price to visit the Roman Baths though
It’s always worth a visit but like you said it’s sooo expensive.. hence why Jason didn’t tell me 😂

The weir was used in the Les Miserables film with Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway.
Oh did not know that, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
