- Rival Sons Live @ Manchester Academy 2nd Feb 2019. Proving once again that they are THE greatest rock band on the planet. Jay Buchanen is quite simply,,,,,,,,,,,, a GOD. Easily the best gig I`ve been to in years. Definitely in my all time top 5 and I`ve been to hundreds. PS. Happy birthday Dempsey. (You`ll understand if you were there).
I’m 70 years old. I’ve seen Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, allman bros,rolling stones,last year I saw rival sons in Sacramento. And I had that same old feeling that I felt in the 70s. Great band.
