It’s unfortunate that the first sponsor you chose is now part of Luxottica, which is an Italian company cornering the market on frames, lenses and lens stores. They have pushed the price of everything through the roof... because that’s what monopolies do. Maybe research first, take money later.
Just to connect the dots: Essilor bought a majority stake in EyeBuyDirect in 2013. Luxottica merged with Essilor in 2018. How that merger was even allowed by law is practically criminal.

Agree ! I ended up at eyebuydirect when I needed new frames, but either people had my prescription but ugly frames, or they had cute frames but not my prescription- I got a pair from ebd for like less than $20 and they're so cute-- I use them when I dress up.
