When I go to the "Input signal senting" options and switch everything to NTSC, then I go back to "Front Monitor" and select NV and the camera works.
When I go to END to save the settings, it reverts back to the original PAL.
Is the last camera not working? I installed the camera, the supermarket supports PAL/NTSC type.
I have same unit but dont have audio, tel, and system option. Is that conected with navigation so without navigation i cant get those two. To use aux i must go to open cd and then chose aux.
Good day how do you save settings in emc measure mode I go to the fan settings for eg and its set to 60% and I change to 100% but as soon as I go out and come back its back to 60%

Hi i had a similar problem delete the phone history of connected devices and the cars history of paired devices and try again this worked for me.

When i drive the volume lowers and when i stop the volume goes up to the normal level how do i solve this

You will need to get it on STAR diagnostic for that.
You seem like the guy I need lol, I have a w212 that I just change the battery on, everything is working fine except the radio no longer switches on by default, I have to push the on button every time I get in the car, would you know what setting I need to change to default it back to on as default, thank you for your time.
Try manually switching it off, before you turn the car off.
Lock the car, then re-open it, start the car and the radio. then after 10 secs or so, switch off the car with the radio still on, it should remember this setting.

The 2012 model is such a pain
No matter what I do, I cannot get into the reset menu. At one click I receive a “Take Your Key from Ignition” prompt. Two clicks, and I can see the trip/odometer screen, but nothing happens when I push the call and ok buttons after holding them for approx. 5 secs. There are no other known issues with key. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks…
Are you watching the correct video/correct NTG version?
I have to manually input my car settings because I purchased a new command unit. Once I turn certain features on, what do I do next so that car can reload with the new features? Do I just press end and exit or do I do a system reset? Thank you
Question for u. My wife has a 2009 E250 cdi NTG4 MB connector in center console audio 20. I have a 2011 ntg4 audio 20 with AUX PORT IN GLOVE BOX E250 coupe. No Bluetooth audio option in either of them in menu. iPhone connect for calls works just not music. Engineering mode looks completely different to yours any ideas.

Audio 20 is different that COMAND which is why yours is looking different. I am not familiar with Audio20. anything mentioned in handbook?
@@killerhertzmercedes nothing. Strange that my radio software is the same as hers and mines 2 year later. Is audio 20 and command just software or are they different hardware radios. Can I just get a software update?
Wish I could use this to figure of I have blind spot assist and parking assist. Seems like those features are hidden or didn't come with my 2010 4matic
If they are not already visible, then it would appear that you car wasnt spec'd with these options from new and would need retro-fitting.

You cannot manually, different software versions had different colours...

You can only do this on the NTG 1 version.

Hi , anyone knows to change regions on my navigation, car bought in the USA and now located in Europe , would like to update the maps do I need to change regions ?
You would be better off sourching a replacement COMAND unit from a UK car and swapping it over.

Any chance we can get the car's original GPS antenna to work with the head unit ? I tried connecting the GPS antenna that came with it but I'm getting no signal...
Aux is in the clove box.
@@joeking3154 Nope, it's not. AUX, when you have the option, is in the compartment under the central armrest, right next to the USB port. I do have the USB port, I do not have the AUX port because that option had not been selected by the original buyer. However, as mentioned in my original comment, the problem was solved by following this video.
Oh, and it's a glove box. Cloves are supposed to be in your spice cabinet or rack, in your kitchen (^^,)

The colour bar only tests the screen.
I installed a new command controller now it say that i need a program or firmware update?...can i do it here in the Engineering menu and how ?
You will need to get it on a STAR diagnostic machine & also have a firmware disc.
@@killerhertzmercedes sorry im talking about i installed the center console controller knob that spin to scroll and control the functions on the screen, also press down for enter or select.... and i got the NTG4 navigation update DVD .. that the firmware disc ? ...... do i still need to do the same procedures you mention?

On my w204 I cannot get to EVM mode. If I press the the keys it goes into the comtel.
I think I by mistake have reset the system and this has happen. The Navi option is also gone.

If you have fully reset it, im afraid you are going to need to get it diagnosed by a Mercedes STAR system.

I did reset the system in the ECM mode but through the option that is available under main screen System. It said data will be erase but did not think hat the NAVI option will also disappear and I will not be able to get into the ECM mode.
Does this also means that I have to go to the dealer to get my options back? Or anyone having the Star diagnostics Module can also reinstate the system back to its original state?
I have also NTG 4.0 in my W212 12/2009, with navigation and I can also enter the hidden menu, but the engineering mode looks different, i can find also the Bluetooth audio but it's not checked and it's greyed out so i cannot change it, someone any ideas?

You need to press buttons in correct order, as per video

I pressed software update by mistake. Now it’s showing me the message “Error on update”. Is there any way to reset it?
Joel anderson I think i got lucky. I kept hitting the comand knob and pressing the cd eject button. It would reset and after 30 seconds or so my cd (just a music disc) came out, and the system went back to normal.
Im sure it worked only cause I had a cd in the player
Joel anderson The cd was already in when I started. Once it went to the reset screen after pressing the comand knob, I hit the eject button. Took a few tries.

I have 2011 w218 cls and i didn't understand what did you say about the software updating is it good or not? And if i updated the software can i get back the old software?(the factory software)?
Dont update the software, you need a dealership to do this!

Is yours an Audio20 or a COMAND?

I think it is a really old firmware so i think the first step would be an update? Is it possible at home or only in a dealership?

- go to audio, then go to the audio tab again to bring up the drop down menu of audio options, select BT audio and activating audio device comes up, then the audio streaming screen
