- The Moab 240, a foot race that starts and finishes in Moab, Utah. This would be my longest race to date in terms of distance, but I'd hope it would be my fastest 200+ mile race as well. And as the race progressed, my aspirations continued to grow.

Without any exaggeration: this is a masterpiece in cinematography and storytelling. And a real nailbiter in the end. Thanks, Jeff!
You are so Right 😊
Even the music was on point in this vid. Well-paced storytelling and an amazing effort to cross the finish line in second place. Thoroughly enjoyed! ❤
"Why did he try to win??" 😂😂
Probably your best film yet. Outstanding all around. Congrats Jeff! I'm so thankful for all you share with us.
That line was pure gold
Two life lessons here. You're stronger than you think you are. Surround yourself with people who love you.
🙏💯
So true.
Ultra racing meets formula 1! Thank you Jeff and Audrée. Your adventures are inspiring and so very generous, how you edit to include so many remarkable people from the community. Congrats on this amazing achievement.
But if you can do it with no help, that would mean your stronger than everybody.
Is there an option 3 and 4?
I think I'm going to watch this one while wearing my hydration vest, a handful of gels and about a litre of sunscreen on my face. Just to be on the safe side.
I am watching while removing Compeed from blisters and wondering if I am going to lose that black toenail again lol.
Don’t know if this dude is a great filmmaker who runs or a runner who makes great films!
Same thing thay was going through my mind watching this
haha so well said !!! both are great indeed!
I think he's both
All of a sudden, marathons seem so mundane....😂
Pacer: "I was only in it for 30 miles."
Me: "OMG!!!"
And then he decided to run another 30 just cause
"B*tched in a forward direction" 🤣New favourite mantra for (and summary of) ultras.
Great film, amazing to see everything that went into it behind the scenes as always, including all of the help from Audree and the pacers. Congrats on an amazing performance Jeff!
What an excellent race documentary. I was not sure I wanted to watch over an hour of a RUclips movie, but it is extremely well put together and worth the time. Well done!
Thanks to RUclips recently recommending trail running clips for the Barkley, I’ve been watching several from the comfort of my couch and getting inspired to hit the gym. This is terrific, brilliant footage, great editing and incredible result. Truly inspiring stuff 🫡🫡
Amazing, Jeff! You’re one of the people that inspired me to become an Ultra runner! You are an amazing inspiration! I hope to share the trail with you one day. Wasatch 100 here I come. Thank you for all the heart warming moments.
Have a great race!
@@JeffPelletier My second 100 miler, in my home state, going to draw on your power in hard moments! THANK YOU!
Incredible storytelling as always Jeff, loved the collaboration between you and your fellow competitors during stretches of the race. That's what makes this sport of ours so special 🩷
That was absolutely incredible in all respects and when Audree started to cry the emotional factor went way up. Congratulations on an amazing run and a spectacular film!
Thanks for bringing us on your trip. One of the best ultra docu's I've seen!
Hello Jeff, I have done some challenging things in my life so far like rock climbing up to grade 30, surfing large waves with sharks circling underneath, being chased out of the ocean while spear fishing by a 12 foot long shark, walking into the Simpson desert solo with my dingo cross ridgeback dog and going through CML ( chronic myeloid leukaemia ) and surviving, but mate you are one of the toughest people I have ever had the privilege to watch and to see you just keep getting better and better as you faced your challenge. A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to you and to all of those amazing runners who competed and incredible people that helped make that race possible. Absolutely fantastic videography.
Your are BRILLIANT
Cheers
Wylie
Wow... This movie made me cry, I'm from Annecy, France and Jeff has been a huge motivation for me. The most beautiful thing for me is the team work : the exhaustion from Audrey and her joy. It was a great moment, thank you two.
Thanks for taking us along for such an epic adventure!! It was a truly amazing performance!! Congratulations and great prep/planning/execution!!
Just incredible Jeff! The racing, your composure, the videography. Awesome.
So incredible Jeff!!! Congratulations!! And huge thumbs up to Audree, everyone in your crew, and the cinematographer!!
So technical, and so tactical. Loved every minute of this video!
Congratulations, Jeff!! Just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to start my trail running journey at 38 years after seeing your UTMB film. I also started filming my runs with my dog and the races I do, and it's all thanks to you. So thank you for giving me this new life 🙏
Fantastic production and effort put into this one Jeff and team! Outputting class performance while documenting it is no easy feat!
Somebody pass the tissues!! I knew the result and the finish-line still got me!
Congrats on an amazing race and awesome film! One of your best so far I reckon!!
This is unreal! Your effort, the visuals, the hard work behind this whole doc, it's all very inspiring! Love from a local FV fan!
This is one of the GREATS of all running documentaries out there. Many congratulations Jeff and team for this incredible achievement. Inspiring for sure 🎉
like a lot of us geeky running geezers, my wife and I can't wait - !!
And congrats on crossing into such uncharted territory... My experience of the podium is being 3rd out of 4 in the 60+ age group at our local mountain 10K.
But - - most importantly - - I'm still dreamin' !!
46 mins in and it’s already one of my favorite running films. Well put together man. So inspiring
Congratulations Jeff! What an accomplishment. You are so lucky to have Andréa as your co-pilot. Can’t wait watch what you do this year. 🙌🏼
I got all teared up with Audreys reactions towards the end, wow!
While the heat can be absolutely brutal in southern and eastern Utah, the scenery is absolutely worth it. It's a net morale boost.
This was a high quality documentation of an impressive feat of human endurance! You all should be proud. Thank you for recording your journey.
Absolutely incredible! Huge congrats!! And big congrats to Audrée, Kevin and Tayson too!
This was SO worth the wait!! Thank you for sharing your adventure yet. I was hooked watching it live and this gave even more context!
Your casual description of hallucinations was pretty funny. Like, just a matter of fact, the leaves have faces and I’m hearing voices. No big deal 😂
A really great, and inspiring, watch - as always l!
thanks so much for taking us with you
congratulation for the great time
This story was told so well. From the on-trail footage to the 'behind the scenes', it all fell into its right place. Truly admirable and inspires me greatly. Might even call it your best film yet.
Another beautiful film by Jeff Pelletier! This video not only highlights Jeff's talent as a video grapher and story teller but also his determination and consistency on the course. A true inspiration all around
Congrats Jeff! How exciting!!! Audree got me at the end, in tears, saying "I can't handle this". Can't wait till next year.
What an amazing race and fantastic video production. This was well worth the wait. The tight finish and seeing Audree really getting emotional really got me in the feels..
Super awesome race! That was an epic end! Well done! Can’t believe you managed to get this result AND kept up with your own vlogging too. 👏
Crazy!! What an epic finish. 70 hours racing to finish 5 minutes apart!! 😮
Wow! Everything about this film is amazing! Just watching it, I was getting as emotional as Audrey! Many congratulations to you, Jeff, Audrey and the rest of the crew. What an advert for long distance trail racing!
You and Audreé are such an inspiration. Watching you run that dude down and saying you needed more miles was wild. You were in the zone!
Keep letting us be a part of your journey!
Freaking wild race, man! Was cool to see you and Jesse race it to the wire!
I don't know how you do it, Jeff. You run a very, very, long race with winning pace and still film everything needed to tell a story? All of your videos are.always to notch videography and good story telling but this one is additionally exciting. I'd say this tops the list of best running films I've ever seen. And I've seen many :)
Amazing job, amazing run.
88mins of brilliant story telling ending in a nail biting finish to a race that lasted 70hrs DANG that is amazing. It will be because of Jeff Pelletier that most Ultra Runners will include a drone as part of their mandatory kit now on all races. Well done to you, Jesse and all of the competitors. EPIC.
What a fantastic teamwork to produce this film. Great performance running it so well.
Watching your wife join your side near the end and immediately burst into tears really hit me hard. So special. All the while you are this unstoppable force keeping that ridiculous pace to bring it home. Congratulations.
Dude, I was just thinking about you on my last long run and wondering when this was coming out. This is literally the most anticipated premiere video I've ever waited on. That was such a kickass race to follow. Thanks for sharing it, hey.
Jeff, you’re a beast! So happy for you. Great to see that you have surrounded yourself with an awesome support team. Audrey you rock! Until your next adventure….. believe and achieve!
I love the way you’re running, the way you’re racing, the way you’re filming.
Every second of this film is just awesome.
Thank you very much Jeff! 👍🏻
I remember the first time we met, in 2016 at the SQ50 after race party in the brewery and 3 years later at the WAM100.
Hope to meet you some day again, somewhere on the trails.
Keep the passion alive
All the best
Greetings from Germany
Steve
Awesome job Jeff!! Way to go! You and Audrey continue to inspire us !
Mad props to all the runners. I'm running short distances of 5 and 10 km as a hobby after work, and just the idea of running this distance of 240 miles with barely any breaks and barely any sleep is just mind blowing to me.
i am so jealous of long distance marathon runners. they can manage to run for hundreds of miles while im out here struggling to run a mile without stopping
Just start running and keep going with it. Gradually increasing mileage. Run walk intervals help building up mileage until running more than a mile becomes comfortable. You can do more than you think!
I loved every minute of that. The right feels, in all the right places.
Pierce had such an awesome energy!
Loved every second of it. Good call on getting the drone cinematography companion, it elevated the experience, hehe. Great team you've assembled there, and it seems that the preparation was well worth the effort! Kudos!
Possibly the most inspirational ultra video I have seen in years. I think I’m going to go register for a couple races after watching this! It’s all your fault Jeff! How exciting. I teared up as Andre was talking just before the finish. Thanks man!!!!
Amazing race!! Congratulations!! You are so inspiring to watch. You train so well, and plan well and you do a fantastic job. I enjoy your commentary and all of the scenery you include. Thank you for sharing this!!
Oh my word Jeff! What an adventure! Congratulations on your epic race and 2nd place finish - so inspired by you and hats off to Audrey and your crew 🤩
Jeff, absolutely fantastic film as always. You've been the best at documenting these long races for a while now, but somehow you keep raising that bar mate. I'll never quite understand how you can be so competitive in these events while also documenting so much, unreal!!
Jeff needed another 100! Looked super fresh at the finish!
Maybe another 10 😉
Bravo Jeff! Bon repos 🏆💐🌺🌸
Olivia and I watched this last night- we really enjoyed it. And you still narrated a phenomenal documentary even though you were racing this time! We were following along on race day at the end hoping there was enough distance for you to take the lead. Great race!
So amazing! What a finish! Huge congrats Jeff!
You did something big that will be remembered forever, congrats to everybody involved for this adventure. You gave somebody faith for one of his dream, thanks for that ! 💙
Amazing film, Jeff! This is exactly what I needed with Cocodona only 4 weeks away. Keep up the great work. Your running and your films are so inspirational!
Have a great time at Cocodona! You’re gonna kill it. Chad is one to watch in that race 👆
I'm blown away by the videography of each video! The U.S.A might not have everything going for it, but the views are up there with the best.
It’s hard to beat the US for the variety and beauty of its parks!
@@JeffPelletier for sure! The U.K has its views but I agree there's nowhere with more diverse environments
This makes me want to train for a long race, thanks to you and the whole crew for putting all the effort so we can enjoy the race too! Keep up the good work
Great strategy. You took what you learned from the stage races and implemented them in this race. Epic finish. Great footage.
Amazing stuff, Jeff! It's one thing to finish 2nd place in a MOAB 240, but doing it all the while with top tier filming and taking drone shots. Honestly, hats off!
This is coming from a fellow Canuck who was inspired by you and started hitting the trails because of you! Thank you so much, Audree and Jeff for doing this!
What an absolutely stunning environment to run through! Incredible video! Hat off to you.
Been waiting for this one !! Worth the wait. What a movie , what a race !!
Amazing film by Jeff and crew. Just when I thought he couldn’t top his UTMB film, he raises the bar again. Wow, so amazing.
thanks jeff for this awesome movie. this gave me thrills; big kudos also to audrée and your whole team.
chapeau to your hard work and the real great second place.
Jeff, your movies are not only incredible but your performance, planning, and most important spirit is amazing !!!
Also what's a sportmansship you have shown at the finish after racing so hard and chasing - you are my hero and if I would need a comprehensive coach I would choose you !!! Kudos also to your crew !!!
PS Will attempt TdG again this year after I got injured last year right before the start - your preparation and planning is definitely basic of mine - Thank you!!!
I was lucky enough to be entered into the Tahoe 200 for 2025. I so excited to suffer for days on end, and your video has made me even more stoked
Awesome, awesome video and music choices Jeff. The music pairing as you left The Needles to run through the exposed sun and finishing with running antelopes was as good as it gets!
This was one of the best running docs I’ve ever watched.
Damn this was worth the wait, what a unique and really really good race video.
And congrats on the second place, you deserve it.
Loved this so much! I was on the edge of my seat at the end! Well done! Keep them coming!
I was crying at the end!! Amazing video!!! I love this sport!!!!
For this one, I'm definitely watching it on the big screen - movie night style :)
That's the way to do it ;)
Hands down the best ultra running channel around. What an amazing watch, and well done Jeff and the team!
Been waiting for this and it was definitely worth the wait, congratulations on such and epic run, and hats off to the brilliant support team
How many ‘once in a lifetime’ adventures can one man have. Inspirational.
Congratulations Jeff. Well done, and as always thank you for sharing.
What a showcase of your experience, Jeff! Long time viewer of your videos. Now I’m motivated to beat my sister in a 10k in June 😂
What an amazing job Jeff, for the documentary and for the 2nd place!
- "How are you running this fast?"
- "Adrenaline"
just awesome
Amazing, just amazing. and for me, this is a real love story. cheers from Japan
Amazing achievement and a fantastic documentary. Congratulations and thanks!
I love your movies, what a freaking ending!! Jeff, you always deliver, jesus. Seeing how Audrey, your crew and yourself are so dedicated to the running community and taking the time to create content to share with us, it's absolutely inspiring. Good vibes, mate. I hope I can join on one of your/Audrey's running community adventure one day!
Oh Jeff, best yet!! Thank you so much. The one problem with watching your films is that I finish and am immediately finding my fingers hovering over buttons to enter ludicrously long races...very dangerous...! Thank you o the work putting it together, congratulations on an amazing run and huge props to Audree for being superstar support crew in this one - her turn next! I think you're running with a friend of mine in Ecuador soon, so I hope it all goes well!
So much Wow! I am pacing at Moab this year and this is an amazing look into the event from all aspects.
Most exiting race I've seen in a long time! This is really making me wanting to put this race on my bucketlist. Big congratulations on a great achievement. Immensely inspiring!
I just love your attitude during races❤ always positive, happy, even feeling like death you smile! Super congratulations Jeff👌 can't wait to follow your next challenge
That was excellent……your race, the film, the epic finish! Well done Jeff! Go Canada Go!🎉🎉
Jess, that's such an amazing run! I thought after that UTMB video I wouldn't see anything so exciting, but here it is. Thanks for sharing this experience with us! Congrats!
Jeff, just fabulous! Congratulations! Love your films. So inspiring 🤩🙏
Wow, this video is extremely underrated. I wish more people were able to see this, a truly inspiring video. Keep up the good work!
what a great documentary. Loved every second of it
Audrey and the pacers contributed much to this race. A good team is really crucial.
Great film! The last part seemed to be a race but the rest was just beauty; beautiful landscapes, great people, and even a once in a lifetime Solar Eclipse.
So I randomly came across this video while I was getting ready to go to work at Trader Joe’s , I finished this video on my break and not only did I feel soo inspired mostly from your mental strength and ability to overcome your fatigue etc but I was sitting at work on a break and started to cry watching you and your wife run to the finish ! It was so emotional to watch and I felt sooo incredibly proud of people I’ve never met haha thanks for sharing this experience with us all!!! 😊
