No problem! Many newer cars door handles are installed and removed this way. But many front and newer cars will have an electronic cable that many times needs to be included from inside. Many dodges need to be done from inside and Toyota/honda have a clip/lever.

Would this be the same for the front as well?

Not totally sure as we didn’t need to remove that one. Based off of other vehicles, the front could potentially need door panel removed. But very possible it’s removed exactly the same.

Sometimes you have to use a hook tool to grab the swing arm (lever) on inner mechanism to pull it back enough for handle to grab it.

Thanks for video, I know you explained how to remove it but a video on removing would help to.

This basically describes both. Just reverse steps. Any questions? Let us know. We’d love to help!

No instructions on removing the handle? My daughter was swinging on mine and now the handle is loose and the child safety lock is on and the door can't open.

Oh no!!! You are going to have to figure out how to open it from inside. The interior panel is going to have to be removed!
      OR:
if it’s already broken, then you may be able to use a hook tool or finger to pry the little lever towards you and the door will open. You may have to break the rest of handle out of the way.
