The tragic part in the game is definitely at 10:35 . Megatron literally offers the Autobots freedom to leave and Optimus refuses it. Yet at the end of the next mission Prime is forced to evacuate the planet anyway. Except now Megatron is pissed at being defied and would rather destroy the ark than let them leave.
And how would u know that megatron isnt just gonna blast the ark or the ships when they are on space and even then optimus didnt know if this was a trick or actual deal he didnt know that the core was corrupted and in no way of repair
I don't think he's pissed because he was defied, I think he's pissed because the Autobots turned off the core of their planet and intended to leave them to die on a dead world
That's a very contorted perspective of Optimus' choice. At this point in the war for Cybertron, no one could have predicted that Megatron's deranged Dark Energon operations would poison the core of their planet. In the Autobots' minds, they were fighting for a home that was very much alive but being threatened by Megatron. Of course the Autobots wouldn't accept being told to bugger off when they could fight for their home. Megatron being 'pissed' because he was defied only highlights how twisted Megatron had become and if anything that shows why the Autobots were so desperate to fight for Cybertron.

Also the part where Megatron's machine had five heads of him is also a reference to the quintessons.
There were good games, even awesome games, but nothing will hold a candle to those legendary titles that perfected their story. This is one of those legendary games, and I love it!
Both Games Are The Best Including Transformers Devastation Too.
I find it super cute in a weird way, that Soundwave goes out of his way, risks his own life and probably the decepticon cause just to save one of his minicons.
Best father figure on Cybertron.
Or how Sideswipe puts it “He’s like their daddy”
Soundwave's relationship to his minicons is one of the few examples of goodness in Decepticons.

Both of them had to hold a speech in front of the council about what they wanted to change, how would they do it, etc. The council refused Megatron due to his way of thinking and suggestions. Optimus, on the other hand, pleased the council and that was Megatron's last straw. (If I remember correctly)

@@eduardomagana3858 the problem is that megatron thinks he's the ruler of cybertron and that if anyone dose something on cybertron they have to have his permission and if you define him you have to be punished or destroyed so to him you either serve him or you die so he can't see that if he let them leave he would have gotten rid of them and they would have not interfired with his plans again
WFC and EFC are awesome!
With original voices, staying true to the original G1 and expanding the G1 lore this is a MUST have.
It really scratches and fulfills all the boxes that the fans have long awaited and much wanted that loved the G1 continuation.
Dude, Soundwave is such an efficient underrated badass. Even when he loses, not only does he manage to escape, but he even scores a free hit on Optimus in the process.

i’m probably fixing to be the only one pointing this out but at 10:44 when megatron says that...they do try to leave in foc but before megatron was killed by metroplex he told optimus that no one leaves without his permission 🤔
The reason is because in this moment he gave the choice to them. But Optimus Refused to live Cybertron, and so Megatron kept his promise of total destruction.
Man, megatron is so cruel that he gave optimus and the rest of autobots a choice to leave cybertron, but then got annihilated anyway
