A car hit her, thank God she survived, but after a month in the hospital, she having insurance, there is $25,000 not covered. The driver's insurance is paying her insurance, not the remaining balance. My friend lost her apt., has no way to pay that money. Its unbelievable. People just stood there. No one called 911. She did, having a head injury, both legs broken in 5 places, a broken pelvis. 😮 Dangerous driver's

Tough break for a cop with only 7 years on. I question whether this officer was "in policy" for driving "code" for an alleged car burglary? My department has very strict policies for driving code and property crimes aren't one of them. I've been employed in AZ for over 20 years. When responding to any CFS, you always have to weigh "risk vs. reward". When on patrol I always assume drivers will do the dumbest thing possible. There's no reason to be a police officer if you aren't likely to live to get your pension.

Use this time more wisely to train your officers on all levels of policing........Six months training equals a GUN, Badge, and a Crown Vic! it wasn’t a high speed chase. The officer was responding to a call and he had a green light when he was hit in the intersection
