I feel you. I have to add, that the bail laws won’t fully fix the problem with this neighborhood, which is, no specialized hospitals. That man should never have had to go to Jamaica Hospital, 16 miles away, in a city like NYC, where hospitals are close. A Trauma Center needs to be created in those areas as well as the idea of bail reform. The program of it being a throwaway community is part of the problem too, but hospitals are definitely either looking for the dollar, or closing down in NYC. They’re even closing Beth Israel Hospital I’mn Manhattan I heard!!! God bless this officer’s soul as well as family. I pray we can resolve this tornado of hatred in NYC.

Description of the suspect please.
Escaped prisoner Skylar Meade and his accomplice Nicholas Umphenour have been recaptured after the two men coordinated a prison escape in Idaho on Wednesday, officials have said.
Meade had been serving a 20-year prison sentence for shooting a sheriff in a high-speed car chase at the time of his escape.
Umphenour allegedly shot two of the officers to help Meade break free. A third correctional officer was shot amid the chaos as backup arrived at the scene and mistook the officer for an armed individual.
The men were later reported to have been associates while spending time behind bars at the Idaho Department of Corrections (IDOC). Both had links to the same white supremacist gang.

What's the full story? Was it a stolen car? Did the suspect not have a license? Kinda weird to ask someone to step out the car for parking at a bus stop. Curious as to what escalated the situation.

@@kennethukoh519 For safety reasons, it's routine to instruct suspicious characters to exit a vehicle to have a better view of said characters to control and determine whether or not the situation is safe. Guns are found in many cars. Unfortunately this character had one and proved to be a lowlife. Always remember that cops are regulators, so by default they are the good ones.
It is illegal to do that btw, and fully legal to preform a traffic stop. You can't refuse to move out from in front of public transportation

A car illegally parked isn't a traffic infraction. That's just a ticket on the windshield for a big fine. Hence, the cop had no right to force either the driver or the passenger to exit the vehicle.
