Its so fascinating having a girl who is the same age, and looks quite similar to me (brunette curly gang eyo), on the internet. To look at her experiences, which were in so many ways also my experiences. You sort of "satisfied" the part of me who also wanted to be seen and liked by so many, the part of me that likes the idea of being an influencer. I bought that face cleansing brush because of you 😂. We went through many of the same experiences at the same time. Vegan at 15, the whole rawtil4 freelee movement, trying so hard to be a good student at school, struggling with body image issues and fitness... For me you felt like an online twin sometimes. And the fact that you now also are studying psych while I just finished my bsc in clinical (developmental) psych is just icing on a very curious cake. I'm looking forward to how your online life will unfold this time around. I want to thank you for being so open about your experiences, its been a weirdly comforting experience to watch a stranger on the internet and live in parallel with each other for almost a decade ❤️

Just a few months shy of 30 I’m not sure what or how to feel as I enter this new decade of my life, but I’m here for it. I still haven’t figured it all out (does anyone ever?!) but I’m hopeful. I remember meeting you at a Glue event in Sydney back in 2017 (I was interning for the PR brand lol) and its so cool to see your face here again. I'm 26 and wanted to share - it's completely normal to feel all these feelings of "failure" or "i'm not where I'm supposed to be". I feel like I had a MASSIVE quarter life crisis at 25 feeling like I hadn't done anything with my life thus far... your mid 20s are a very strange time. And working in such a public role, I can imagine it would be very hard not to compare yourself to all these young kids on tik tok already making tonnes of money/uber successful. But you're right - we are so young! And really, life is still just getting started :)

I’m 25 this year, and I’ve spoken to my siblings and my friends and I feel everyone I know my age, we’ve all been so lost in quarter life. Like idk wether it was covid or marriage ages pushing back but everyone’s just like, scared to take risks and lonely and feeling not enough, but I’m realising it seems to be an emerging theme for late 90’s/early 2000’s babies and it has been giving me comfort

Turning 35 this month and started following you back in the Sydney days when I was a vegan Instagrammer and got into the whole Influencer thing myself. A curse and a blessing to be seen and have a following. Kinda gave up on that and switched to building another kind of business as I didn't enjoy collaborations that much and relying on companies and just making money through advertising products all the time. I sometimes miss the free products tho, lol. And I actually miss taking photos, also food photos. Maybe I pick it back up one day. Sometimes I realize how much time has passed... all that was so long ago. I remember asking some young person who is on Instagram a lot if she remembers Essena O Neill and she didn't and I was like "how?! That whole getting off Instagram thing and how influencers are so fake blabla was such a big topic back then". Today it's so normal to make money with social media (not just as an influencer). 13:30 Self-employment in a nutshell :D Even without being an influencer this is the same for me basically.
WAIT! Let me try to give you a more clear view of life. I heard you say that probably most people who are watching this won't be influencers, but that's not true! Everyone is an influencer in some way, so let's influence the right way... Here is an eye opener, ..because let's talk about living a life without dieing! WoW! Wait WHAT? Yes, let me explain, because we all have to die, except.. ~when God hears your true and honest cry and you repent from your sin, by fully trusting in Him and completely turning to Him day by day with applying the scripture to your life with prayer. He will have mercy on you and give you peace. Believe that He has forgiven your sins when He died on the cross. He said; It is Finished! What was finished? Your price was paid! And by that, dead is conquered! because the wages of sin is dead, but when there are no more wages there is no dead. And because He raised from the dead, we are risen as well! and have through the strength of our living God, everlasting life! So ask Him to give you the strength to keep you from sinning and to truly hate sin and to start living for Him, through Him (with the weapon's He provides for us, prayer and The Word) because He is the Word) John 1. By walking how He shows us(through His Word) that we should walk, that's when we walk in The Way, to everlasting life with the Truth(Sword) on our (in)side. In Him, through Him dieing for us and living in us, we live to/for Him! To honour Him. And by doing so we have eternal life! Don't try to live life in your own strength, but rather turn FULLY to our God and Savior Jesus Christ! When you do that, He WILL give you His help, The Holy Spirit, He WILL enable you, to live for Him, not because of you, but because of His name sake and that's why He IS Good and Kind and Mercyfull. Open your Holy Bible- Search and you will find! Get on your knees- Pray and you will be given! Keep knocking ~in prayer~ and the door ~in His Word~ will be opened!!
