there's so many good memories listening to these vids again, and at the end, realizing this was so long ago to where we all actually had FB accounts is just mindblowing. I think that was probably the first thing to go when this started. RIP James.

Doing this right now as I introduce my friend into the firearms world. Living through nostalgia through all of James old videos. Forgot how much I loved James videos

Love this philosophy. You guys are the only place in my training curriculum that I’ve been to so far that teaches this. Thanks James.

It never ceases to amaze me just how many people knock training and claim there's no need for it and/or that it doesn't make much of a difference. smh That being said, this is one of the best if not THE best explanations of ooda loop that I've ever heard. As always James, thank you for everything you.

This absolutely fantastic content. I like that you cited examples of restarting the ooda loop and how it applies to a gunfight and daily activities. Also enjoyed the history behind it.

Four years in the Marine Corps and no one made O.O.D.A. loop make sense or matter as well as you did in this video.

Sorry, I didn’t pay attention to your shirt. I was busy paying attention to your explanation of OODA Loop. You always give me insight about how I need to prepare myself defensively. I have a a 9mm for years but have not really used or practiced much at all. I consider myself as a new shooter and find your videos very informative. Thank you for making these videos

Been awhile since I watched this, glad to see it back on YT. It'll be easier to show and share now. This helps in anything, just a human understanding how their bio-chemical organic grey matter computer works. Thanks as always for putting this info out there for free.

I really like the idea that skills that are going to be used under stress have to be practiced under stressful conditions. In all seriousness what you said about punching your friend in the balls is spot on. Getting punched in the face is one of the most disorienting things that can happen to someone. And in a self defense situation it's very likely to happen. It'd be nice if there was some way to practice real life sparring and transitioning to your firearm, maybe with simunition.

Hick's Law? I didn't expect to see applied-cognition, i.e. human-factors psychology, on the any RUclips gun channel. As a human-factors psychology researcher I see a lot of RUclips gun guys try to implement cognitive-psychology into their training, but the explanations are almost always either flawed or too rudimentary to matter. Yeager is on a whole new level & very few people really understand that as well as they should; thank you.

The more options we have the longer it will take us to decide. To prove this point go shopping with a woman. Go to a furniture store, shoe or dress shopping and see how long it takes for a woman to make a decision

Just got turned on to the OODA LOOP concept today & this is like the 20th video I've seen on it already. Everything Mr. Yeager says in this video sounds 100% reasonable, logical, to the point & very applicable. Everything except for that one ignorant, off hand comment about about people with emotional 'reality' filters as being generally 'political liberals'. As if you're political orientation determines your ability to discriminate & discern reality from unreality. In actuality the more politically one observes any situation the more it destroys ones ability to discriminate & discern reality from unreality in that situation. Mr. Yeager didn't add anything to the OODA LOOP discussion with that dumb ass 'lberal' comment. All he did was expose himself for his own ignorant political biases. Politics is the lowest form of human consciousness & spirituality is the highest form of human consciousness.
P.S. Full disclosure: I am apolitical & do not belong to any party. All politics is a form of reality distortion. There is only one thing that is real & true. That is the Infinite/Eternal, Source/Force of Life/Love/Light 🙏
