    Men at arms pair very well with long sword and the new class. If you can CC a unit for even two seconds the cover commander deleted their health. The healing with long sword is very powerful too

    Question:
    Myrmillones is good to be more defensive or offensive with the upper veterancy?
    Another question is about palace guards. Why this veterancy, considering the other gives immunity to CC (countering WWG)

      Palace guards are very hard to play. Myrm top is more dmg. Bot more tanky. But usually evryone got too much dmg so bot seems meh.

    So here are some thingsthat need to be mentioned. MAA are not as micromanagy as paladins for example, hate to always have to press x anv, x and v. Secondly, charge doctrines work on MAAs and are actually really good, the doctrine that increases the amount of targets that can be hit by a charge by 1 therefore is also insane (counts for the cover commander charge as well). Thirdly, MAAs actually keep all the buffs from shield formantion when put into cover commander since this somehow doesnt count as a formation order and therefore doesnt overwrite it. Fourthly, MMAs actually get a 60% damage reduction and 45% damage dealt bonus when put in cover commander. This one decreases to 40% and 30 percent respectively over 3 seconds. It has a cooldown of about 12 or 18 sec (dont remember anymore). So if you know those tricks with them and play them correctly they are actually still really good. Hero intervention is always hard to measure since it depends on a lot, but they are still really strong if used correctly
    And honestly IPGs in A tier is no way near reality. They just get shit on rn so instantly. Paladin block and bleed, wuwei, myrmillons are just shitting on them even when advancing, it just doesnt make sense to play them anymore. We even took 5 IPGs in a group and always had 2-3 people advance at the same time and the ipgs literally did nothing and just died. Def not worth it anymore. Purple halbers on the other hand should be a tier at least. They are pretty good against infantry and against cav (in a cav heavy meta without any real anticav in purple season).

      MAA works now mostly with best doctrines only.And even then they lose vs meta units. IPG yeah they difficult but their advance can kill a lot of units 1v1 including cav. That's why on A.

      Ipgs are not meant for 1v1 and even their they struggle against paladins and mymillons. Add in thr new class wih its kick and ipgs have it even rougher. IPGs were my fav for a long time but they are barely playable anymore. Would even put them in c cause even for anti cav there are better options

    I could get a free max purple unit on a new char. which one would you reccomend more palace guards or imperialnpikemen or even empieral archers since I want to buy the pack giving me palladins. I am using ratan pikemen thanks to u!

      If you love archers imperial archers are really great.if you want a infantry unit then go for imperial pikemen as they easier then palace guards.

      Usually it is top+mid, making them ok in melee and ranged. My knowledge is pretty outdated tho

      Top and bottom the shield thing (middle section)is not needed since theres a unit mastery for that.

    I have taken quite meny hero kills and units with the new sparta jav unit it just the timeing when u going throw them due to momentum build upp

      ​@@Sagume-ido imp javs are made for close range fight, they don't need too much range. Similar argument can be made for jav sergeants; they have range and ammo but no melee ability

    Berserkers are A tier. They win a lot of 1 vs 1.

      I never saw them win vs no one.Well maybe weak units.But meta units there is no way they lose vs berserkers.

      @@DuckyNobu Every time I see a Myrmilo unit I engage with my Berserks because I am 99.99% sure I will win. So far I have not been proven wrong. They also eat IPG for breakfast through their march. They lose the fight vs units that have burst potential. Mansion Guards for example. Palas also win if they get a good charge. But the again, what unit doesn't get wiped by a good Pala charge? Haven't tested them against Palace Guards but I assume the Palace Guards win? All the units in B tiear and lower will most likely lose to zerkers. Maybe the Halb Sergents win? In the purple era of the season, zerkers are pretty damn good. Their ability to stay in the fight through their self heal is absuard. Once people start using the Phalanx and create dead zones...that's when zerkers become hard to play and you're better off picking something else that can push through a wall of pikes.
