Keto Crab Cakes with Remoulade

  • Ingredients and Amounts:
    1 lb lump crab meat
    1/2 cup mayo
    1 cup Pork Panko or crushed pork rinds
    1 tbs dijon mustard
    1 tsp hot sauce
    1 egg
    2 tbs chopped parsley
    1/2 cup minced bell pepper
    1 tbs nut flour
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
    2 tbs avocado oil
    1 bottle of Remoulade Sauce (optional, but highly recommended!)
    Step 1
    Combine the mayo, mustard, nut flour, old bay seasoning, and hot sauce in a bowl.
    Step 2
    Sauté bell peppers for two to three minutes until fragrant. leave on the side. then in the same bowl from before, mix in the bell pepper, egg, and ground pepper. Then gently fold in the lump crab meat. Mix in the pork panko and parsley. IF DESIRED, ADD REMOULADE SAUCE TO MIXTURE, ABOUT TWO TO THREE TABLESPOONS.
    Step 3
    Scoop 1/4 cup of crab mix and form into a puck shape. Repeat for the remaining mix.
    Step 4
    Heat avocado oil in a pan on medium heat. Sear crab cakes 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown, or air fry at 370 degrees for ten minutes (preferred method).
