The ring is Chanctonbury Ring, an ancient Hill Fort, apparently haunted, most won't camp there! 😂 Good effort BTW 👍

What an epic day! I’ve already watched to the end of your SDW series but have come back to make the comment in situ. A great resource you have made here. I shall be rewatching with my own map book to take notes when it arrives. And you are such a positive person to listen to. Thank you. And I must pick up a Nemo Tensor mat at some point. I can’t see a uk stockist of anything but the mummy shape at the moment though.

Ah thank you for your nice comments. Haven't been able to do much hiking lately due to a knee injury but it's nearly better so the Wainwright coast to coast is next. A cheaper alternative to to the Nemo is the trekolagy ul80 with a reflective matt under it.

That's some distance! Living in Brighton, Devils Dyke and Ditchling are my go to places to get away. It's stunning. Shame there wasn't a sunset. Enjoy the Seven Sisters. The walk there is also amazing.
BTW Enjoyed your Two Moors hike. I'm doing it solo in September.

You are doing some serious distance. Do you find you do more when on your own?
