Steve was a teacher of mine. I have mixed feelings about him - he was a great teacher and very supportive of my work, but he also made me very uncomfortable at times (not really going to get into the details here). I think he was troubled. I will always remember him.

This makes me very sad. As he was the best teacher I have ever had and I have just found out he died on 12/7/17. He was a great man.
