Hi Richard, I enjoyed the video, I'm going to be a bit harsh with you here. I have been involved with Desks and Support for over 30 years and have hired hundreds of employees. Honestly I would be suspicious and leery of the answers to the interview questions that you provided, they are over the top and "show boating". I would question someone who uses phrases like "perfect" and "brilliant". I look for honesty and humility. Good answers include phrases like "I like to solve problems", "I like working with people", "I can see myself working well here with your team", and "I enjoy helping people over the phone". Another point, the answers really didn't respond to "tell me about yourself", this is a red flag when someone doesn't want to talk about themselves.

I have a service desk analyst interview at 11am on Wedesnday (two days time). Hopefully your video leads me to the job! I will update this comment on my experience.

They were impressed with one of the questions I asked which has been suggested by Richard “what advice would you give the successful candidate” Unfortunately though they said they preferred another candidate since they provided more detail and had more experience. I have another interview tomorrow, fingers crossed.

lol, the only question they are going to ask you deal with competency of doing the job for minimum wage. It's either this or work at fast food. Be yourself, know what you're applying for and be able to answer their technical questions. The amount of time you spend trying to get ready for this stupid interview could be spent else ware like getting a IT cert
Why do you assume that you'll get the job just because you can answer the technical questions? Preparation makes such a difference and there are only limited spaces available for each advertised position, you'd be silly not to prepare.

lol, the only question they are going to ask you deal with competency of doing the job for minimum wage. It's either this or work at fast food. Be yourself, know what you're applying for and be able to answer their technical questions. The amount of time you spend trying to get ready for this stupid interview could be spent else ware like getting a IT cert
Why do you assume that you'll get the job just because you can answer the technical questions? Preparation makes such a difference and there are only limited spaces available for each advertised position, you'd be silly not to prepare.
Haha I can take extra hours, if you guys think someone will pay you for that then wake up :D
