watching these videos cured my fear of flying. I was so bad that Ryanair crew started to recognise me as I got on the plane.... literally, I was so terrified (but HAD to fly) that other passengers complained. My most recent flights were, London to Iceland and from Iceland to Florida, and back. I was so calm, I couldn't believe it myself!
That is actually one of the youngest Tunisian pilots to start their career, he started at the age of 18 or 19 I guess. Turned captain in 2008, one of the best. Go on Karim
Not sure why my post isn't posting :(. If it shows up, I will be happy. If it shows up, I'll delete one of them. I was saying that I love listening to these pilots and watching what and how they do things. You learn so much from them. The A320's is an amazing aircraft. Awesome takeoff and landing; this plane sounds amazing. The view outside these windows is beautiful and amazing. These pilots are friendly and great. I do miss flying. The last time I took a flight was between the UK and the US in 2019. I do travel quite a bit due to family. If I had the money, I would love to do this and travel the world. Awesome video; I love it.
Very professional captain!!! CRM is very good! I flew IL-76 for many years...I'd say flight deck 5 was like a crasy house where the navigator( his station is below upper deck) is the most observant, clever and educated person,ICAO English Level 10, always talking across radiocommunication,check-lusts and PIC commands... So,once you come across some russuan or ex-USSR Il-76 or An-12,be on guard.
I was puzzled why the push back from the stand at the UAE was arranged for the aircraft to face west? Because it then undertook a 180 turn to face east in order to get to the intersect? That said this was a very informative and brilliant video.
Perhaps the apron was blocked to the eastern side or there was an object, possibly mentioned in the NOTAMS as well or else karim would have questioned the push direction
What a futile and insignificant comment bro lol. Focus on the main purpose of the video and try to enhance your aviation knowledge just like everyone else is doing instead of speaking of the Pilot’s appearance because it does not matter
So so much pre-flight preparation required for just one flight. Those who want to fly planes should think about the sheer skill and hard work (not forgetting the ever present danger) involved in this job - it's not all about the 'glamour' of piloting a plane in the air 😉
Thanks, a fine team. The briefing about getting to Peshawar without knowing what might happen when they got there what with the military exercises, entering Irani airspace..holding at Peshawar, '''A little bit of sight seeing, not a bad thing'...we'll see how it goes'', deadpan professionals! I'm a bit worried about their coughs. Recycled air from the passengers?
This particular vid, so top-heavy with techy detail (or should that be mind-numbing detail) the geeks will love it - whatever floats your boat [or flies your plane] I suppose. 😀
@@duncanfife918 Yeah right, I didn't pay attention to that. I was sure it was pre-pandemic cause they were not wearing any masks, also the captain and his first officer were husband and wife and the airline doesn't allow relatives flying together.
As soon as you select TOGA or FLX thrust upon take off roll, never remove hand from thrust levers until V1. Also not for starting the clock. If you have an engine fail at very low speed (!!) and the thr lever is not retarded immediately, you will end up beside the runway.
It’s done for a split second to start chrono to keep a tab of the amount of time that thrust is on toga or flex. A second to put thust to reverse max is all that’s needed when pushing chrono.
JP....Hello again! Fantastic flight....fascinating to see! Great pilots... so nice views! Your videos are great JP....thanks so much;) Stay safe and have a lovely weekend! Warm greetings.....Betsy.
But one question goes around my mind, Why they are reciting every single step they will come over during there flight? Is this happen on every normal flight or its just because its a recorded flight? The captain is going on and on 😂😂 actually as far as I know they divide the work for instance the captain will responsible for controls and the F/O is responsible for communication and on take off they shift the duty but not reciting every procedure.
But they were reacting and acting like colleagues. This is called Crew Resource Management skills. Relationship left beyond the aircraft doors. Just professionalism
@@flightlab6229 The professionalism is obvious but I bet it would still be tested if there was a life threatening emergency. They’re still human. I sincerely hope they never have to find out.

I was in Peshawar at the very time when this video was filmed! What are the odds haha.
Pilots are getting younger and younger everyday.
No, we are getting older and older everyday lol
And their shirts are getting tighter and tighter... :)
I hear you, my homeboy walked out of Flying school to the Cathay Pacific A350 fleet🤫
Because they are now a days hired by airlines like Air Arabia through MPL multi Crew Pilot License), also sometimes refer as "Frozen ATPL"
