Damn, I miss this show. We got season one on DSTV, and then nothing after that. Maybe too few people watched it. Maybe someone complained to the broadcasting board because it's about witches. Maybe the creators decided they wanted it to be a netflix-only show. Whichever it is, this show was superb 😫❤🔥
You don't know what you're wishing things may not be as they seem i don't find these powers any amusing at all their powers are related to sound and how they can manipulate the molecules around them such as solids or liquids or gasses something not special since we have devices that can easily replicate any of theses abilities except precognition the ability to see the future
Because the basic premises of magic is that all things are energy of some form or shape, and your will can control them to some degree. Sound (chanting) is one of the most powerful forms of energy channeling, so it makes sense that they sing to cast spellwork.
