Got this pod myself although they did change it slightly. I think the idea of marking the extending parts is a great idea as its very easy to think you have done them all the same and if they're not quite right the pod ends up twisted. Shame they didn't have a stopper really instead of letting the inserts pull straight out, would have made setup much easier.
Great video. Would I be right in saying that if I wanted to use some 2 rod buzz bars I could do that because you can just close the arms of the pod in tighter?
Hi I’ve Recently purchased this pod and notice my reels r hitting each other on a 3 rod set up on the pod ? is there any thing fox sell to stop this ? Ive see the adjustable arms do they work on the pod as well as the bank sticks ?
Fox do an extended buzzer bar which is longer than the normal ones in the black label range. I had the same problem when I changed my reels so I just changed the back buzzer bar. Hope this helps body and remember to keep them lines super tight 🎣🎣🎣😁😁👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Simon, what reels are you using as I’m using the new diawa emblem 45 and worry they won’t fit if I use three? Have your reels clattered during a take?
Nice one Simon...like the pod need to upgrade mine me thinks so going to have to look on the interweb for a good deal but would need adjustable buzz bars ... can't b doing with launching another rod into the lake when striking into a run as it looks quite tight for space between them cracking looking piece of kit though...cheers m8 tight lines for 2019....👍👍🍻
Thanks Kev yep great piece of kit but I think you are right with the wider adjustable buzzer bars I think it's the way forward for me as well but all in all it's a very sturdy pod🎣🎣🎣🎣👍👍
Hi Yes they do but that is how I choose to have it. You can buy different types and lengths or extendable types of buzzer bars to suit your needs of how want your rod tips sit. They do a good range of stuff for this pod that's one of the reasons why I'm impressed with it 👍👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🎣
Simon longman thanks for replying Simon. I have just bought one and was confused because how I originally done it the tips was pointing at each other. Then I swapped the goal post round and found the tips was better but the reels hit each other on a 3 rod set up kind of ignoring but they do look smart and compact into the bag
I think they were ntg gear. But fox black label have since brought some out that I'm thinking of upgrading to because you can put your swingers straight to a clip-on bottom.
Yep not a problem they are NGT 3 quick release system for rod rests Bite alarms landing net heads black and I got them off eBay they seem to be the cheapest place for them. They are a little fiddly two set up and get right but once you have done this they are so quick to put on and take off well worth it I think.👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣
Hi Yes the front ones are smaller than the rear but if you wish you can change it around. I like to keep my rod tips close together to stop the wildlife swimming into them🦆🦆🦆🦢🦢🦢 and yes you can get different buzzer bars of different sizes if you wish🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Take a look at the matrix quick release quad locks mate for you alarms you womt get no wobble unlike them ngt ones you have got I have tried them sort before and I found them to be useless as alarms wobbled on the pod ...seems a shame after you have spent decent money on a lovely set up for you to then scrimp on your quick release adaptors ..slack lines mate 🎣🎣🎣
Hi Dave Thanks for the advice buddy it is really much appreciated😁😁👍👍. Is there any chance of a website I can get them from save me looking for hours. Once again thanks for the tip it is really much appreciated👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣
They are called ATTS and they are a silent alarm you need a sounder box with them they have no on and off switch and are a complete waterproof sealed unit all in all if you research them they are a good alarm👍👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🎣
Yes no problem they are the prologic quick-release. They are a bit fiddly to set up but once they are set up they are absolutely fine. They have a little tiny wobble on them but nothing to write home about and it is better than screwing your bite alarms on and off every time. I'm not too keen on leaving my bite alarms on buzz bars in padded bags I've had them snap before. Any problems give me a shout I will do my best to help👍👍👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🎣

The way you have set it up don’t you find the roads tips point to each other really tight because the goal post bars are slightly different size
