When is really windy how do I adjust Orbit not to run sprinkler for that one evening and then go back to regular sprinklers timers?

Hi, thanks for the demo. It was helpful. I have this system, but am having trouble with it. I just moved into this house, and don’t have a booklet for troubleshooting. I believe my easy dial may be broken, because it is coming on at times not programmed. It comes on several times on a day it should come in. Do you know if the timer could be broken, and if so, can you post a video on how to replace it, that is unless the whole unit needs replaced. I am grateful for your help and ideas! Thank you!
it was probably working as programmed. there are two programs, A, and B. probably both were set up to run. each program can have 4 start times. so it could run all stations as much as 8 times a day automatically.
We programmed the sprinkler timer for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for 5:00 AM for program A. When we turn the dial back to auto it flashes the next start time is Tuesday at 12:00 AM for program A. Do you know why? Thanks.
Hi, thanks for this video, super helpful. How can we check what our timer settings are already at now, so we can make the right adjustments. For example, my water bill is super high and I want to adjust to water less, but I'm not sure what the timer is currently set at? I thank you.
turn the dial to "run time". this tells you the run times (in minutes) set for each station. use right arrow to browse through each station to see the run times currently set for each one. use minus sign to lower the minutes for each station. by default this will affect program A. if you want to do it for prog B, after turning to "run time", press Program A/B button to toggle between the programs.

you do not need 2 programs for 2 runs a day. for that case, you set 2 start times in one program. let's do it in prog A. so while on prog A, turn knob to "start times". you can have up to 4 start times per program. move through the start times with the right arrow. in your case, sounds like you want 2 start times, so set the first one to say 5am, and the second to say 7pm. then leave start times 3 and 4 blank ("- - -"). then turn knob to "run time" to set how long you want each zone to run for. these will be the run times used for both daily runs.

Thanks for the demo, the B program blinks and the start time is 12:00. I don’t want program B and can’t figure out how to delete it
try to set the start time for prog B to " - - - ". failing that, set all your run times for prob B to "- - -" which means zero.

our previous owner has this system and we dont know which sprinker at which station, do you know how to find out ? and do you know how to resetup the stations

yes, you can water diff zones at diff times. you would use 2 programs to do that: A, and B. set up prog A to do one set of zones at start time x, and prog B to do other zones at start time y. you can have up to 4 start times per program.
Hi .. I have a tree and shrubs.... how do I just water the tree on certain days and the shrubs on others... how do I know know what station is the tree on ?
to find out which station is which, you want to do a manual run for an individual station, then see which sprinklers turn on. press manual, "right arrow", "right arrow" to get to manual run for individual station. it will start with station 1. press plus to give it 1 minute, then enter to run it. then see which station starts watering. then do it all over again for station 2. to move from station 1 to 2 on the readout, use "right arrow". so this time it would be manual -> right arrow -> right arrow -> right arrow. and so on for the remaining stations.
Hi there. I hope you can help me. i had asked, in a prior comment, how to set programs A and B on this particular timer. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I am going to start time. Set program A and push enter. then I go to program A and B and choose option B and do the same. When I set it back to Auto, it says start time for program A only and no mention of program B. I had done exactly the same during prior summer times (when it's hot and want to water the grass 2x/day, and it has worked).

I leave it off normally. I want to put it on just today, manually to do all zones. Help
this particular device has a flaw in that to manually do all zones without having to babysit it, you must execute a pre-decided program, such as A or B. so set up a program A, then press manual and let it run whenever the feeling moves you. but then it will also run when A's start time comes along if you leave the knob on "auto", so turn the dial to "off" after finished with your manual run. so in other words, it's a manual run of prog A. if you don't want to use prog A's data, you have to babysit it and enter manual data for each zone one at a time. i know this is not crystal clear.
