Sometimes you really do need to help it out of it's shell or it will die. Especially if some of the yoke is glued onto a part of the chicks body preventing the chick from sliding out of the shell. Rarely does the mother reject the newborn if human touches it in domestic animals.
I read a storey that a boy did the same with butterfly and the result was that that butterfly could never fly because the struggle she had to do was to learn to fly and u r doing the same😭

Don't help hatch at all. The work of hatching strengthens them.
